I've been using too much lately.
My dude is the most reliable person I've ever met. Before I was going through him, he was my friends connect. If I include that time period as well, I've been going through this guy for over 15 years (knock on wood).
Always just got dope, but he started having hard as well a few months back. "I won't smoke crack without heroin" - my favorite line from 'Party Monster'
I've been "lost" for a while, but there was always one constant. I'm 37 and have worked on the clock for the same business for over 21.5 years. Including under the table, it's over 24 years. Now they are closed. I'm helping the owner to sell the equipment he has left. Not sure what I'm going to do next, but I would like for people to stop asking me.
I'd like to go back to school and finish my degree. I've identified myself as a "70-90 percenter". I don't know if that is actually a thing, but I frequently will do 70-90 percent of something, then when there is that last difficult hurdle, I fold. I think it was 120 credits to graduate. I had somewhere around 108-112. 108 would be 90% done.
I think this is some good ranting for the time being, but since I brought up school, if anyone is interested I could rant about that quite a bit. Particularly bad is how they try to push everyone in that direction. Knowing a trade or doing labor is looked down so much in America it's sickening. It's why most of my generation can't do anything with tools. Myself included. I'll just say the same line I've been saying since 2003. If everyone went to college, the only thing that would mean is that the janitor's would have college degrees. That's not putting janitor's down. They are a necessary part of most businesses, schools, etc. It's just that they don't need to have college debt to do that job. So far most of what I've learned in college has only helped in one area - watching Jeopardy. The only way that would be worth the thousands that were spent on college would be if I got on Jeopardy and won some decent money. The chances of that are probably the same as the chance that anyone has read up to this point; slim, very slim. Slam into a Slim Jim! Never had one they look gross.
In conclusion, the cops knew that the other guys were undercover internal affairs the whole time.
