let's see where this goes
i thought it could be a little fun to see if we could create a story. ive started it. we'll let it run for a week or two, whoever wants to join in can. take it where ever you want and lets see what we end up with the end. keep in mind we do want a story worth reading. to make it easy try not to write anymore than i have here to begin with. anyway, ive started, whos next?
cut and paste the whole story from the last post so that the last post in the thread has thole story in in it from beginning to end. this could be fun.
my grandpa used to spend what used seem like forever to me playing in his shed.
i was never allowed in there but i knew what he was up to.
once a year on my birthday i always got the same present.
it never grew old, although it never really changed.
you know those old clipper ships in you would see in those wine bottles, my pa used to make them, from scratch.
well once a year, i got a new one, every year it was the same bar a few minor changes he would make, today i count 12 twelve of them on the mantle piece above the fire place.
every year i would ask the same qestion. pa, how do you build the boat inside the glass?
sshhhhh he always told me, it's a secret, when you're old enough, maybe i'll show you how.
so i'd been reading a book i got from school during bookweek the librarian said i should read.
it was all about how to make gold, something about alchemy he told, whatever that is.
but all i learnt was that sand could be moulded into bricks and stone that made the pyramids.
i also learnt that it could make glass.
