The Psychedelic Experience

So I just read Timothy Leary's book "The Psychedelic Experience" and after reading the instructions for specific visuals I couldn't help but be curious. Has anyone tried any of these? If so did it do what you expected or what? I would love to give it a go but school first, psychedelics second. Or if anybody is tripping soon and wants to give it a go.

I have never really thought much about that particular book. Its just weird sort of dogmatic finite theory. I don't find that it has helped me with any psychedelic experience...

Turn off your mind, relax and float downstream...Should have just kept it at that.

seems like a huge load of bizarre pedantry... if you were convinced those psalms were going to work tho...i imagine they would while you were tripping...
