ummm about 5 miles south of here. there are loads of cliffs and beaches around the coast here. :)

i've always known there were puffins there, but this is the first time i've actually seen them with my own eyes. 3 cheers for my new zoom lens, haha, cos i could hardly see them.
 
Ahaha, that's brilliant, I never knew they lived so close.

To me, Puffins look like old men standing around with their hands in their pockets. Fuck knows why, it just.....does. :D Picture them with flat caps & a tab hanging from the mouth.
 
heh, you'll know exactly where they are cletus. right beside that granite quarry with the gate blocking the road. (didnae stop me this time, haha. ;))

I wouldn't like to try it considering their diet consists of sand eels.
Last time Hugh Fearless Eat It All tried them he wasn't to impressed with the sand eels.

Funny thing with puffers is how they show affection to their life long partner by rubbing their beaks.
 
Just off my camera phone so nothing amazing, but think this has to be one of the nicest views in leeds even with the building works.

Yeah leeds is full of really dreadful architecture. It's a bit hazy but when you're there in person you can see most of south leeds so it's pretty cool.
 
You'ld love to live in Edinburgh if you like nice views. :)

Yes I remember it had good views. Leeds is just full of concrete and dreadfull modern tower blocks all made of glass and generally looking vile. The building I took the photo from is a quite plesant in it's way and they've stuck up some glass monstrosity behind it. Leeds met has also embarked on building two giant hideous buildings near the centre of town ¬_¬
 
We must be one of the very few cities which have a castle in the city centre, tis quite blissful. Spent most of the weekend sitting in Princess St Gardens with it in the background, most idylic setting on a sunny day, goes well with a few drinks. :)
 
Hmm, I dunno. The majority are lovely, but I keep coming back to Katy Perry.

Oh man me too <3 Ms Lily is definitely a fave as well though.

Wibs, I need to get some pics of the surrounding cuntryside here. For all we complain about this town, it does have some fucking stunning views. There's a hill about eight miles south of here (specific, eh? :D) where you can see way past York on a clear day. Going to take the camera up there this week I reckons.

I was driving through a little village in the Belgian countryside, went round a bend and downhill and all of a sudden that was in front of me! The pic does not really do it justice either, it's a crazy shade of rock set against the cliff face. Very nice.

Turned out the "village" was a busy little old town.
