stayed over at GFs house last night and she lives near the beach so i decided this morning to go for a walk along the beach as i had nothing else to do, i stopped and got a coffee on the way to keep me warm as it was a little bit cold but nothing could have prepared me for the bitterly cold east wind attacking me as i walked along portmarnock strand... the bite was bitter and i turned back pretty soon after, then i decided to drive around for a while.. took some pics on my phone along the way!

so this is pretty much what i did today so far hehe.. pics taken around north county dublin and then on the way back out to west dublin via the backroads (in an effort to avoid m50 traffic!)

the waves, they were pretty loud

me walking back to my car cos it was far too cold

driving thru a small costal town, think it was howth

you can barely see a famous dublin landmark (the poolbeg chimneys) in the distance in this one

drove down the m1 to go the backroads home by airport

back past the airport, plane landing

final stretch, nearly home

I had a call earlier, apparently I was due to start my photography course today. I guess I should have let them know earlier I wasn't planning on going anymore, I don't even have a camera as I gave it away.

My interest in photography was rather short lived.

interesting. did you do that with a digital camera and then merge them in software? surely not the proper old skool pain in the arse film method?
