you are one lucky cunt felix, did you get to stay in mexico after your work or did you come straight back home?

straight home ASAP - 11 days early. didn't have any desire to stay any longer and we didn't see much of the 'real mexico' - the city were staying in was the main 'oil city', which is actually on a big island (a long hike from Cancun, by the way). All we saw of Mexico City was the airport (quite a good one actually) and the view from the plane. it looked like a massive shanty town. we were advised not to get any ideas about doing any sightseeing or go on any 'adventures' or we would almost certainly end up in the wrong end of town and get mugged, or worse.

whenever i get near the end of a trip, the only thing i care about is getting home.
