The OxyContin FAQ - FINALLY!

I just want to add that one of my favorite things about OC is that dream state that I expereince after the high has worn off. I mean the high is so short lived anyway. You blow a line and the feeling is gone in an hour. I take a Xanax about an hour after I'm done railing all the OC for the night and then lay down in bed. It takes a while to fall asleep and I just have these amazing dreamlike thoughts while I'm still awake.

is there any possiblity that the 20mg (pink pills) come indvidual wrap in a sealed foil pack? or would it be pill by pill from a contanier. took something that felt like 6 percects thought this maybe them.
 
Great job! Would love to see it for other substances as well. Ones that have become popular lately (the 2Cs and 5meos).

My mom just got a prescription for the 10mg for back pain. She said they don't really help and I could have them. She gets 75 pills for $14 with her insurance. They don't have a protective coating on them though. Can I just crush them up? I don't see a coating to peel off.
 
Wow. I wish I had mom who gave me her narcotics...

The 10mg OC's have no coating on them, they are small, round, white tabs that can be crushed up as-is.

Anyway, there seems to be some confusion between OXYCODONE and OXYCONTIN ..
There are these pills they sell called "Roxicodone" - they are about the same size as the low-dose OxyContin, they are white, and have NO coating - they contain 5mg of Oxycodone and are instant-release - they are also refered to as "OxyIR" (I believe thats actually Purdue's brand name) ..
ALL 5 of the differn't OxyContin pills have a coating - the 10mg simply have a WHITE coating - but it's there all the same..
Yes, my compairson of an 80mg tab to a penny is off, I guess a dime is closer - I couldn't think of anything common to compare it to ..

Upon closer examination there is a coating... there didn't seem to be, but after I ran my finger nail across one of the pills some coating came off. They are definitely oxycontin, I have the bottle, they are small white woth 10 on one side and OC on the other. My mom is really cool about things like this. She understands how bad the pain can get around that time of the month.
 
Good job, PhreeX. If we could somehow compile a FAQ on many of the top drugs, that would be sooo helpful for everybody. There should be an OD home page, then from there a link to FAQ's on all the other drugs. I know I don't participate in writing the thing, but I (and many others) have enough knowledge to at least contribute if need be.

IMO, there is no comparison between Oxycontin and Dilaudid (By Knoll anyway).
However, this is *only* when the Dilaudid is IV'd and the OC is eaten orally.
I have not <and will not> Inject Oxycontin. However, I have eaten my fair share <probably ate your share too

Taken orally Hydromorphone is about as recreational as Darvocet or Tylenol 4.
Oral Oxycontin cannot hold a flame to IV Dilaudid....
Although they are still delicious.

So... i know that you can NOT inject oxycontins. But, now knowing that the oxy ir's are in fact different... do they not contain the same filler matrix that makes the oxys uninjectable? Thus making them safe to inject?
