Oxycodone IV Stimulant effect?

So I ran out of my Dilaudid 3 days ahead of schedule, fortunately I have 30ish of my OC 20's left.. It's been about a month since i IV'ed an OC , so i prep a shot and slammed it about 5 min ago... and I feel like i just shot some Coke or Meth... I'm tweeking out, i'm numb, i feel the opiate.. my heart rate is sitting about 65 bpm/O2 sat at 99% so i'm fine. But no nod? no sleepiness? just feeling that i can't sit still.. I hate feeling like this.. I don't do stimulants/uppers for this reason..

This happen to anyone else?
 
OC's are more of a stimulating experience overall. I wouldn't be surprised. Thebaine derived opiates (like oxycodone or buprenorphine) have more of a stimulant-like effect than morphine derived opiates (like morphine, heroin, etc).

Is it OK if I merge this into the OC mega thread now?
 
I found this happened alot more when I first started using oxycodone.I still do find it somewhat stimulating,but no where near the degree I once did.
 
Yea I watched about half of it, right where the old dude gets arrested in Kentucky. I was just saying that it's practically just a documentary of my life, along with many other Bluelighters. Hell, I first learned about Florida pain clinics in rehab. I can't remember how many people would travel there to get their pills. One lady in there was taking 8 80's a day and had no idea how dangerous they were. She was very innocent and naive.

Yea when i first watched that documentary the 1st thing that i thought about was that my moving to TX from Tampa, Fl when i was 11 probably helped me out a bit. i mean i became addicted to Oxy anyways but it took until age 20 :\ but yea i enjoyed this documentary a good bit. also the channel it aired on. Current tv is a fairly kool new channel
 
I found the doco pretty interesting, mostly because the institutionalized drug dealing that goes on. You Americans are funny in the sense that you lock people up for years for using, but allow the free market to do whatever the hell they want. Pretty bizarre when you think about it. Most Countries would tackle the problem at the source rather than hemorrhage taxpayer money on the symptoms.
 
Yeah Oxy will make you super pumped up. Other time's you'll catch a amazing nod. Then somtimes your just inbetween.

It's a good opiate to take with a benzo, if you want to nod.
 
I am in Manchester, and i cannot understand how you all manage to get your hands on Oxycontin. My mum used to have a repeat prescription that she had no idea what was for(That did not last FYI...) but i did it. I started off of 10's and then moved onto 20's.

She has stopped taking the now and is now on Oramorph but man i miss an Oxy kick but it is impossible to get a hold off here. Tramadol aint kicking it either.
 
Oxycodone?

I have recently acquired two oxycodone pills. They have 512 stamped on them and are 5mg's and 325 APAP or whatever that is


I have never done any type of opiate before. What should I expect? Some people say its a medical version of heroin. Is the high really similiar to heroin? They also say its the best feeling in the world but I've done ecstasy multiple times and I always thought that was pretty amazing.


Any pointers would help thanks

as for the High if it is a perc.. then it's a speedy euphoric high

I'm just asking what I should expect for someone who has never done an opiate before.
