^hey 6/7, do we have a picture of the new Oxycontin 30mg pill?Purdue started producing them a few months back, not sure exactly how long they have been out but yea..just asking.Too tired to look. I got Rxd last week so i'll put it up if we dont have 1 already..---

btw dont you love the shitty fucking wheather were getting blasted with:X:p:X
 
Yeah, check the second post. Under the Purdue section there is a picture that includes all the old doses and new doses, including the 30mg pills.

And yeah, Michigan is never fun in the winter. I can't believe I've survived this long with it.
 
I have some of the Malinkrodt 80's, and am enjoying my first ever experience with Oxy (contin) tonight. Ended up just crushing them in a ziploc baggy and parachuting. The bad thing is that a lot of the powder ended up sticking to the bag, so I dosed about half of what was left. Whats the most effective way to crush these things up?
 
^run the pill under water for a min, while scraping the wax coating off. Then take a napkin and rub the rest off.Once you got it completely off, cut it into 2 pieces and put um on a plate. Take a pill bottle, or anything that you got thats handy,able to grip and manuvre and has a completely flat head. Gently go don on the 2 parts to break them. Going slow is so you dont have bits of oxy flying everywhere as u wud if you just started smashing it. Once u have broken them up just mash away, gently still until its a fine powder.i think you know what to do next=D

There are many ways to do this tho. I personally always use a pill crusher. u can buy um at any pharmacy for 3-4$ and they have a compartment to store ur pills to and you can even get a straw to fit in there, greatest invention since sliced bread!!!!
 
Does gelling matter if you're just going to chew oxycontin or crush it and swallow it?
What if you had an OC that is known to gel, and, say, you bite off half of it, chew it, and then swallow it. Would it be a waste?

Is gelling only a problem if you plan on snorting and/or IVing?
 
fuck this shit! i hate reading back 5 months or so, just finding the bottle of oxys.

makes me sad to think i had no addiction WAY back then =[
 
Impax- discontinued?

In the Oxy Contin Mega Thread, its states that the impax oxycodone ERs (generic oxycontin) are discontinued?

Yet that's what my guy KEEPS and has been getting supplied with every month...

I'm pretty sure the information regarding manufacturing status of generic Oxycontin in the OC MegaThread is correct.

Pharmacies buy in bulk, probably left-over stock.
 
You can still get them here if your insurence gets the generics. My buddy was getting 40s and would pay extra for purdue and would get the ABGs once and a while when they didnt have his full script of purdue brand, and those were discountinued also. I havent seen Impax in a few months tho.

Hard to say for certain. When I say bulk, I mean A LOT. And not that many people are prescribed Oxycontin, relatively speaking, therefore a large enough amount of such a medication bought in bulk(for a bargain price) could indeed last for over a year or even two.

Though I will agree with you, it does seem a bit strange that they you are still getting the Impax month after month, as it is now 2009. If nothing else, the pharmacy will be forced to throw away any remaining medication upon it's expiration, which shouldn't be to far off, if the date of discontinuation listed is in fact accurate.
 
Yay I am so glad someone is findin good use for my thread. That is exactly why I made it . I hope it helps more ppl as well. I will look and update it too since its about time. And thank you so much for using the fuckin search engine to whoever said they found this thread by searchin! Finally someone whose doin it rite! ;)
