The original Oxy 80s are here to stay and are cheaper

So, my doctor wrote me my script for 60 80mg oxycontin today. I panicked cuz all the pharmacies in my area only hvr the ops. So I called EVERY pharmacy in my area and I got one. Here's how it went.

Sir, do you have the old or the new oxycontin 80s?..
We don't hvr either just generics....
What! Generics? Why brand? ..
We have ethex...
What do they say on them?...
Green, OC on one side nd 80 on the other..
NO WAY!! I hung up nd ran over there. Low nd behold I got brand name old formula oc 80s exactly like the name brand for the GENERIC PRICE. After doing research I found purdue is doing with ethex as it did with watson. Making them then distributing under ethex like the abgs. But these r the same
nd actually say oc 80 on em. Catch is only one big chain pharmacy will b carrying them. Ull have to look around. Happy searching and oc is NOT DEAD. Oh nd there here to stay nd won't b switching to the new form cuz purdue patentd that

I looked it up, and apparently purdue is allowing them to make generics. now whether or not they're just like the original name brand, I'm not sure.

It's not LIKE the name brand. They ARE the same ones. Same
imprint everything. Purdue makes then nd just distributes them under ethenex. They are even waaayyy cheaper then the bullshit ocs cuz thecnically there genrics now. I hvr em in hand nd they r the same
ones. I knew purdue wuldnt b stupid. Nd since the new gel ones r patented the ethenex ones r here to stay. U guys owe me
big. If I ain't post this ud all b getting the shitty ones and paying more for em
 
just because you posted about it early doesn't mean that the others that are scripted oxy wouldn't have found out for themselves. most likely from their pharmacist.
 
Ur right I just saved the couple hundreded pple here paniking scourng wit the bs ocs bout to lose their minds. Nd te average person wuldnt of told so they make more $ nd wen they said no we don't have the ocs they wuldnt of asked if there were generics nd if they r realise they werethe real 1s

hahahaa laced up, ur laced.. this has been on other forums for a couple weeks already, walgreens on the westcoast/ southwest are carrying the generics, which are ethex branded purdues.

My bad, I post on here using my iPhone which I recently cracked the screen on. Brand new 32GB iPhone4 and I can bearly see the screen. To top it off the damn auo-correct uses the craziest words for minor spelling errors. I misspelled "you" and put "tou" and it auto-corrected it to "jewish" lol

Nd it's only on the west? None on the eastcoast (ny/nj) at all? Nd only walgreens? Is that how it works for now?
 
after this thread was first posted, I looked it up on google and found a few reputable news sites posting about it, so its true.

also, that person further up said they read about it on a few message boards.
 
you mean ethex. watson's imprint is "abg" while the new ethex generics are exactly the same as brand and say "OC" on them.

I got an 80 last night and it was my buddies script and he said he just got generics like i told him to and they were oc 80's. He gave me one for free just for telling him haha :)

I saved the Oxy lovers the fear of the new formula so, they're being super nice to me and hooking me up!!! =D
