Heroin The only H I've ever seen is in the form of an off-white to brown powder

That will always turn brown when you add water to some degree. The strongest stuff seems to correlate with how dark brown the solution ends up being. Every bag I have ever bought is like this. Which type is it, black tar that's heavily cut, or China White?

good question. I had some dope last night that was a light brown almost orange color in solution that got me higher than any other dope I've done. been wondering why the lighter dope was so good.

I live in Southern CA, where the only kind of H there is, is tar. It's not all black & sticky. What I was taught was that the light brown, powdery stuff is better than the darker, stickier stuff. This is because real heroin is the white powder one sees on the east coast and the darker it is, the more other garbage is in it. If you add water, heat it up, filter out as much crap as you can, blah blah blah... and what you end up with is kind of an amber color, then I'd guess what you're getting is fairly decent tar heroin.

You can't tell the quality of H solely by the color of the solution or powder itself... a lot of things influence this and I've had plenty of times where really light colored dope is amazing and times when it's been shit... same with dark dope.

There are no clear cut "rules" on what color dope is good and what is bad...

well from what ive gathered most dope in vancouver is asian dope so its doubtful that its severely cut tar

if it is tar then yea that off white stuff has to be terrible

i will agree with you that the 'brown sugar' kind of tar is better then 'most' regular tar

but tar in its purest form is VERY dark

its like a black glassy obsidian rock kind of apearance, very hard very dark/black

White heroin is from china obv why it's called china white but darker dope usually stems from the Middle East, doesn't make it garbage- just comes from a DIF poppy
