The One-Man Drug Company

This is what i dont get about shit like this: When people be ike "oh a interesting story" or "a sobering tale" or whatever it makes me wonder what, you aint never seen this shit before? if youre a dopehead who OD'd and survived, and you read a story about the sdame thing are you gona be like "OMG, wow that really made me think and reconsider" or some shit? if i seen or been thru somethin a million times it aint like readin a article about it is gonna have any kinda impact. which is what makes me wonder if yall here are really that into drugs, cuz it seems like the reactions ppl are having is like something new just got presented to them in this story and i dont know no drug users who would be suprised or learn anything new from this story. So fill me in yall whats goin on in ur heads

sounds fabricated. it should be no surprise that the story might sound familiar. as other people had said, the same template just different names, different drugs, etc. at best it's based on someone the writer knows
blah

the way i see it you could make lacey's argument with any drug related movie...

hell, any movie that they tried to make realistic... you could ask "wtf was the point of that"

take for example the movie traffic... i knew that many of those interactions occured, but that didnt make the movie pointless to watch..

i enjoy reading stories like these, fabricated or not they are still entertaining...

to lacey::

after further discussion with a friend of mine... how often does any story have a point..?

Socialite models dont pack gats yo. homie is dealin with upper class people here not slangin to 12 year old baby G's and shit.m From how it sounds at least that is his clientele. that area of NY aint no poor mans land. He aint dealin wit the people that bust down doors and gun butt niggaz when hes sellin (From what i can tell from the article.) who he gets from is another story but the point is when you sell over price grams to models and businessmen it aint as shady as when you deal with shystie mutha fuckas. Then again coke can make anyone shystie.
Yea, I guess homie don’t need to play that nickel dime street corner shit. Homies got mob connections in Soho. If he has trouble he probably just make a call and says “ Meet me a the place” and the lynch man says “don’t worry I’ll take care of it” and he says “thanks I won’t forget about you at Christmas”.

The what?

I said dope dude. heron. Not coke. I was makin a comparison. Saying that someone who believes buyers would tolerate shit at that low of purity is most likely someone who aint familiar with it, cuz no one who is would say somethin like that. So, someone who aint nevefr done some of the heroin in this area, might doubt how good it could be, and say "No way man, it gets cut up so much that Heroin in new jersey is prolly on average like 30% pure" not knowing that it is actually alot higher than that.

how do you have any way of knowin what the product is like in one area if you dont live there. That is like me sayin "No way! the weed in cali aint that good!" i aint never been to cali there fore i dont know, so i dont talk about it.

Anyways just try and roll up to a corner where you dont know nowone and ask for coke, you will get crack. so its pointless to talk about it anyways since its alot easier to get good crack than good coke, on a low street corner level. if you wanna talk about purity and good product then you are dealin with a person you know and work with on the regular and its all abut who you know.

Ok cool i just thought that word up meant that you agreed with someone, but if your talking about heroin i know nothing.

Any street-level dealer trying to peddle 22% coke on the streets of NYC will not be in business for long. Grams here routinely test at 70% and sometimes 80% or more and go for about fifty bucks.

I agree. that part didn't make much sense to me. I really don't get why lots of people always talk about how the purity of coke is in the teens and single digit percentages. i think all people who do coke (or at least the people who talk about coke) should read the bluelight coke purification thread.

it was a long read, but a pretty good one.
this dude would be the exception to the rule if he can get out of the game without running into some much more serious problems.

how do any of you know how pure your coke is? unless you do some sort of chemical analysis or you have done coke that you know for a fact is 100% pure for basis of comparison you dont know. his shit that is 30% could actually be way better than what you think is whatever higher percent because you can only compare it to the other yay youve done and you dont know how good that was either.

obviously this article is going to be nothing new to a lot of the people on this board. but then again there are a lot of people here who know NOTHING of street deals or how "the game" works. so I can see how this is crazy interesting to a lot of folks. I liked it. it took me 2 or 3 trys to read it all, but I liked it.

oh, and you can test the purity of coke just like they say in the article. you melt it down. find the melting point of all added cuts. then find the melting point of the coke. calculate purity.

Wow, long read!

He seems to have all the angles covered, fairly smart for a dealer, but he really should get out of it while he can! Get some therapy, some medication, put some money down for the law school, and a house - then he'll have a set life.

I'm sure the anxiousness, and loneliness will get to him before the cops do. He actually has some potential, really should put use to it. His story is going to end up on Lifetime lol 8)

Nice find!

Agreed. Just because he's careful doesn't mean he'll be safe forever. He should have a real career, he's got enough money for school/appartment right now, why not walk away with that?

Yo, what the fuck ever. show me a person who believes 100 MILLION DOLLARS aint shit and ill show you one greedy-ass mutha fucka. Try tellin me on my $92 dollar a week paycheck that 100 mil aint shit and dont go nowhere these days. Try tellin the single mom whose workin 3 shit jobs for a total of $400 a week, just to feed her kids , that 100 mil aint gonna get her far. or how bout commenting to the homeless dude on the corner with his change cup that 100 million dollars aint worth all that much, then youll realize how pathetically arrogant, thoughtless, and close minded it sounds to say that. :|

Good story, SWIM has met quite a few peeps like him in the last 20 yrs. Many of them had good intentions as well (going legit) most of them are now in prison, wishing they still had their piggy bank.

The most fucked up part is tax payers will pay more in one year to "warehouse" his ass then he has in his safe. Fuck law school he should bee thinking about the law of averages. Prince for a day? ;(
