@DexterMeth: Please keep us updated on your drug test, my friend is in the same situation, you would think that 4 days would be plenty of time since that is the time it takes a REAL amphetamine to get out of your system?
 
meth im with you on the dosage lvl. The 6mg trip isnt that intense, and as you stated a med to put you to sleep works wonders, ive dosed after work ~4pm and tripped till 3am and took meds to sleep and antipsychotics as well and i was up and ready for work by 7am. So from my prospective the only way to go is up. I would also like to add that i ingested DOC for 3 days in a row, tolerence of course sets in, but thats a given with anything. DOC imo is safe and i felt that i had alot of control over my trip, which is not what i feel on LSD or Boomers. With that in mind i feel that DOC is a better psychedelic.

depends on how often used, how much used..and many other things but generally its 3 days for single use. and IF doc did show any result it wouldnt be methamphetamine, and psudoepherine does also rarely cause false positives for amphs in tests. i doubt doc will show anything, with such a little dose imagine how much of it is metabolized and im sure its within 48 hours.
 
From what i've read so far i'd speculate that the difference between folkses dose/rating is either down to different strength batches or possibly those prone(latently)to mania will be the ones who got a lot off a little if you catch my drift ~ who knows but it does seem that a bit odd that some say"1mg proved abit much" up to "6mg ingested but need to go higher" that is a big big dosage range to get such different responses. Anyway i shall find out for myself in the future.

Not even everyone experiences it.
Usually a ++++ occurs when you need it in your life. Hardly ever does it depend on the dose or substance.
I had my first ++++ on 2.1g ofmushrooms. It was one of the most terrifying experiences that then turned into one of the most blissfull.
5 meo dmt usually gives constitant ++++. But thats like the only one.

I was just trying to clarify what a ++++ was.
I see people throw that term and ego death around alot without really
knowing what they mean.

BTW. i dont think you dont know what ego death/++++ is. Its just that when u have a ++++ experience you are sure of it.
At least in my case i was never confused as to whether my experience was a ++++ or not.

dude, i know exactly what a ++++ experience is. I went through a gram of 5-meo-dmt mostly to myself 2 summers ago. And i know what ego death is. And it's not that hard to obtain on any psychedelic if you take the right dose. Just as with 5-meo-dmt, you will not get ego death ++++ experience if you dont take enough. But the chemical itself isn't always enough, it's just a catalyst, your mind has to many times put in some work too..but yeah you could get blasted high enough to where you had no choice and couldn't find a transidental ++++.
I think i have a lot more psychedelic experience than you think I do.

well, i whole heartedly agree with this.
 
I don't believe people are getting contaminated or cut batches of DOC now. But I know quite a few people who've eaten this in doses up to 10mg and it does seem like it is somewhat linear in the dosage/intensity curve similarly to LSD.

Although taking more will extend your trip, it doesn't seem like taking an extra milligram will make the difference between a mild +++ and a psychedelic ass whooping.

By the way I got a medium +++ trip off 2mg.

And a somewhat stronger trip off 2mg + 2mg + 2mg spaced apart by 2 hours each redose, but longer.

This is surmised from my own observations and observing others who were happy to research this chemical, using their own discretion and my guidance.
 
Dexter,you say you take 100mg Seroquel daily ( posted in another thread),its a 5-HT2 antagonist so I wouldn't be surprised you need 10mg DOC.People should tell what else they take or it can be very misleading.
 
Astrazeneca’s Rx information lists antagonism at 5HT1A and 5HT2 (does not specify receptor subtype(s)). (IC50s=717 & 148 nM respectively for those who care). Seroquel also has D1, D2, H1, and adrenergic alpha 1 & 2 antagonist activity. No known appreciable activity at cholinergic, muscarinic, & benzodiazepine receptors.

Don’t know offhand for DOC, but other similar DOx compounds (such as DOB, DOI, etc.) have known activity at 5HT1A, 5HT2A, & 5HT2C.

English version; yea if one is taking Seroquel regularly, it could easily impact the effects of any/all 5HT related psychedelics.

Seriously, though. It seems like people who post about their experiences with DOC seem to have accumilated a wealth of experiences in what seems to be less than a month...

Well, for me at least there was no uncontrollable need to do it again, it's more like the feeling you get from good sex, an excellent meal, or the first time I did E or LSD. I really enjoyed myself and wanted to do it again. So, in that respect I suppose it has a bit of a mental addiction quality, but so does every thing good. I personally take a substance about once per month or so, and won't have the time set aside for another DOC journey until December, so I'll test it again then. As for the other people I know on here who have been taking multiple doses of DOC in the last month, that's a pretty standard number of times for them to use substances, they just usually take various different ones, rather than focusing on a single compound.

Anywho, the short of it is, I don't see people using more often due to DOC, just using it in place of other compounds.

No, the 4-halo-2,5-dimethoxyamphetamines are almost exclusively 5HT2a/2c agonists with no appreciable activity at the 5HT1a receptor at effective doses. It's only the tryptamines & ergolines that have an appreciable affinity for the 5HT1a receptor.

Right. But seroquel can still weaken the effects of DOC because its activity at 5ht2 receptors. No?

I agree 100%.

However, it looks like there are always going to be people who don't tell us all the details. That's why whenever someone tells you a reseach chemical dosage in this thread or any other thread in any other forum you should consider that:


  1. The individual may not be telling you what other drugs they are using, such as SSRI's or antipsychotics which weaken psychedelics, or drugs such a benzos or opiates which can smoothe out negative effects.

  2. The individual may not be considering how frequently they use psychedelics, or the last time they used before the trip, and the resulting tolerance they have from that.

  3. The individual may not be telling you the total dosage they took was spread out over a period of time. Spreading a dose out can minimize side effects that result while aborbing the drug into your body and coming up on the drug, because you absorb the drug and come up slower.

  4. The individual may not have weighed his dose properly. Many people aren't giving their weighing method. It appears some people eyeball, guess, and then tell people the number. Others are relying on things like blotters, where a sheet may be made poorly and not be on uniform strength.

  5. Few of the samples of these research chems are tested. While most test out OK some batches are impure and others turn out to be other chemicals. Some chemical may decompose as well.

  6. I hate to say it, but, in this forum and in other forums there are people who would exaggerate their dosage just to be kewl.

So should you take the dosages given here with a grain of salt? How about a jar of salt? How about a dehydrated ocean?

Bottom line is, IMHO, you should really use Pihkal and Pihkal alone to determine your personal starting dose, and then work your way up if you need to. You should also use a precise weighing method, such as a high enough precision scale or a lower precision scale and solution method. It does not appear to me that blotters are reliable weighing method.
 
7. Different people have different reactions to the same compounds even if everything else is the same.

For example: I have a natural tolerance to the 2C-halos for some weird reason. I don't take any medications or supplements, I eat the same food as my wife, etc... She gets the expected reaction by dosing in Shulgin's recommended dose range. To even get a moderate effect I have to take nearly double his listed high end dosage.
 
Still coming down from the craziest trip... ever...

ingested 8mgs of capsuled DOC, then 30 minutes after took 5 hits of pretty good acid. (hadn't done any psychedelics in 2 weeks)

ahaha oh man... time flew by fucking fast. So intense i puked shortly after coming up. Most insane, realistic visuals..such an incredibly beautiful trip I was crying most of the way through it, still kinda am now. Most of the night I was crawling out of a rabbit hole, except different dimensions kinda like Sliders. I was able to astral project in 5 seconds with little meditation. I don't know how else to describe my trip without sounding like a complete space case? My sense of touch is orgasmic...wont go into much details about that but use your imagination :D
