I think there's a good chance of it.... the kind of seratonin depletion caused by heavy ecstasy use, especially the day after, could very well cause your brain to physically feel like shit during a DOC trip (which will no doubt stretch what little resources your brain has left).

Especially if the ecstasy contained amph / meth-amph as well as MDMA!

i consumed four pills over the course of about 5 hours.. 3 that were just MDMA and 1 that was mdma/meth.

gonna have to ... costs a lot for a .001 accurate scale. I have weighed the product on my friend's scale which is accurate to .20mg and it read that it was exactly 100mg

i am asking if anyone has done it, however

I'm sure people have done it. Doesn't take away from the fact that it is not accurate. The more liquid, the better. 112 drops is like 25 ml. For one, it will be hard to get 100 mg to dissolve into 25 ml. Water also evaporates and 25 ml is 20 in no time, which will lead to confusion about the dosages..

You don't "have" to, you just want it. I'm saying you shouldn't. Why not take the advice? Because you can't put that dropper to use if you don't? That's no reason for me.

yeah well considering i just read liquid storage causes loss of potency i am reconsidering it all. plus the evaporative factor of water is pretty slow, stored tightly sealed and refridgerated evaporative loss should be low. the evaporative loss is even greater with ethanol.

I put 100mg into 5mL dH2O (probably 60F) without any problem. I suspect I could cut the amount of liquid in half, especially with slightly warm water.

I'm confused about your friend's scale. Did you mean 0.2g (grams)? Because a scale accurate to +/-0.2mg (+/-0.0002g) is more accurate than a scale that will read down to +/-0.001mg.

If it is a 0.2g scale, FUCK NO MAN DON'T USE THAT. That gives you an error range of 200mg over or under the amount it shows as the mass. If you are wieghing 100mg, you could have barely anything, or you could have 300mg. The stuff I have, some is powder, some is dense crystalline material. You can't get a feel for how much there is by looking at it.

If you mean to take 4mg out of you 100mg you wieghed, you could possibly be taking as much as 12mg. You REALLY don't want to make that mistake. Its one you'll only make once.. if its you, you'll probably have one of the most intense trips you could imagine... if its someone else, be preapred for a beat down.

edit:
i had an incorrect unit (mg instead of g) on one of the figures

If 1mg will dissolve in 1 drop, then sure.

I left some out in the air/light for a week on purpose before taking it and noticed no degradation. Phenethylamines/amphetamines are pretty stable in general. I would have no concern about storing it in a colored vial under refridgeration. Distilled water won't cost you much more than US$0.50 a gallon, and it will have nothing in it to react with the compound.

But...

regardless of what your friend says, if he weighed it on the scale you mentioned, he cannot assure you its 100mg. thats like saying you know for a fact that something is 10cm long, when all you have to measure it with is a ruler divided up into 3cm increments. How do you know its 10cm? You don't.

If you use that measurement, you're taking a chance. And if you're going to do that anyway, at least have the responsibility not to give this stuff to other people.

If you can buy drugs like this, you can (and need to) buy an accurate scale. Don't let it take a disaster to convince you of this.

Christ man.. DON'T USE DROPS TO MEASURE ANYTHING. Read. That scale your friend owns CANNOT measure the exact amount. It has just been explained that there will be a 40 mg margin of error, it can be 120 mg it can be 80 mg, just because you're assured it's 100 mg does NOT mean it is.

A good solution would be 1mg per 5 ml. That's 500 ml for 100 mg. Use something like that, nothing else. If you don't listen, don't even bother asking questions anymore.

No it is not photoreactive, DOC is pretty stable, also in solution. Ofcourse you want it stored in a cool, dry, dark place to ensure there will be no loss of potency.

Listen to him! This should be the safest way to measure the 100mg you think you have. If you use the method quoted above, start off with the lowest dose first! That should be 2mgs first and to be more responsible use less. You sound impatient remember Patience leeds to a long and healthy life!

i have to jump in here, even though it's been repeated already
DON'T USE DROPS!!! especially not with a 0.2g scale, that's just asking for trouble! like the probability of trouble is 0.99999

Hey DR. fizzacyst, got some questions:

I left some out in the air/light for a week on purpose before taking it and noticed no degradation. Phenethylamines/amphetamines are pretty stable in general. I would have no concern about storing it in a colored vial under refridgeration. Distilled water won't cost you much more than US$0.50 a gallon, and it will have nothing in it to react with the compound.

1. What is the purpose of leaving some out in air/light for a week on purpose of before taking it? Do you think that doing this once shows that it did not degenerate or degrade? Maybe it did degrade or change slightly. You did no scientific measurements.

2. Distilled water from the store isn't pure. It contains trace minerals and other elements. To make a broad brushed statement saying it will have nothing to react to the compound shows your lake of credibility in dealing with any chemical compound.

Please, please, please DR. fizzacyst. Leave the chemistry to the chemists! YOU COULD BE ENDANGERING SOME NAIVE INDIVIDUAL WITH YOU UNPROVEN AND UNSCIENTIFIC STATEMENTS. But then again, what do you care.

I hope you don't hurt yourself or someone doesn't take you seriously.

Let me recommend that instead of messing with droppers to measure liquid, try using syringes. You can get the 1mL (100 units) diabetes syringes at any major pharmacy for cheap (less than $20 for 100 syringes). Just measure out 10mL of ethyl alcohol, dissolve 100mg of DOC into it, and suck up the solution into 10 syringes. This way, each marking on the syringe (at 10 unit / .1 mL increments) contains 1mg of DOC, making each syringe contain 10mg of DOC. This is a reasonably accurate way to measure the doses.

I have an abundance of the substance, and didn't really give two shits if a little bit of it broke down. I would have noticed a major drop in potency. Thats all. this was not a scientific test, nor were any scientific measurements done. I never claimed there were. Sure, something could have happened. Was a I looking for that? No. Do I care? No, not really.

There will probably be some tiny amount of leached chemicals from the plastic too. Will it matter? No. Will there be chlorine, or other very reactive materials? No. Is this better than tap or drinking water? Yes.

I'm not a doctor or a professional chemist, and I don't recall claiming to be either. You're only saying this because I logged several warnings against you for acting like a child/dispensing reckless advice, like "give him 1/2 an ounce next time" when part of a eigth of mushrooms made someone flip out. Who is endangering people? I guess its me, reccomending people store drugs in water that might potentially have 1 part calcium per 10 billion parts water.

Stop posting crap like this. I'm just going to start deleting it all.

Omg, a friend of mine ate 11.5mg of DOC and 40mg of 2C-I last night. He said he liked it. Haven't talked to him since T+4:00 though. Lol, he rarely uses psychedelics, but he usually eats insane amounts, so sick.

Hi, I am obtaining a 2 dram (112 drops approx) amber dropper vial and counting approximately 100 drops of distilled water into it. I then apply 100mg DOC to the amount of water, shaking it to even the mixture - has this worked for anyone?

as far as being able to dose 1 mg / drop.

Wanted to check before I attempted this. thanks.

also is DOC unstable compound? if I observe it under a light bulb will the light destroy it (photoreactive)?
Theoretically if i wanted .5mg / drop I could use 200 drops, right?

The eye droppers in the vial are pretty accurate as far as each drop being even.
It's water soluble right?
Light will damage, but its not unstable. I think your method would work.

Good god greenbarts, have you read the other replies? Please don't encourage him to do it. Also, what makes you think that DOC is photoreactive?

One of my friends plugged 15mg of 2c-i and 20mg of 2c-c and was at a +++/++++ in 5 minutes (visual field absolutely gone, sound gone, couldn't do anything but lay there)... He said he then fell asleep at t+2h (!?) and at t+8h he woke up at a +++, t+26 hours later he was down to a ++ or so...t+38h +, pupils finally getting back to normal...

We think that he may've been sent some DOC instead of 2c-i/2c-c, as he'd done 120mg 2c-c oral and 50mg 2c-i oral (on seperate occasions) and they lasted 6 and 12 hours respectively...he's gonna test them at lower doses in a few days on report back (the supplier he got it from only sells a few select chemicals, and we don't think that it's anything other than DOC, 2c-i, or 2c-c).

Sorry, fizzacyst. I will contradict what you think in the future.

If my opinion doesn't agree with yours then you will delete it. That's your choice. You have the power to do so. No free speech here. lol!

Shit nuke, stuff like that is bad news. Shit. DOC instead of 2C-C. Sure sounds like it. Omg, these are the moments in which you better have some Zydis and Temazepam at hand... Shit
