Piracetam and 2C-E eh? Who’d have thought a nootropic would augment the facilitation of something like that… might be worth looking into; any indications that the combo was toxic (I know little about nootropic pharmacology and nothing of contraindications with phens or tryptamines)?
Like you, I was meditating to music during the DXM/5meo session. I knew I was in trouble when a single note dropped down through my spine. What was unique about this route in comparison to ayahuasca was a palpable sense of “skipping” prior to the disconnect. Every attempt to reference myself had me stumbling into emptiness, like my phenomenological stylus was scratching oblivion. However, I doubt a repeat of the combo would be successful and would not recommend it to anyone due to doubts about the safety of that level of dissociation. On the other hand, I have a lot of confidence in the ayahuasca route—specifically as described above. I only used the method and timing twice, and both times resulted in the experience. Beyond the mere coincidence, I felt much more in control of how close to the edge I wanted to be, though after jumping off it was sheer profundity and terror. Obviously you managed to reach the state through a single oral dose, though my experiences imply that a component of acceleration (in smoking 5meo or in taking the faster onset liquid ayahuasca on top of the slower acting boiled-down powder) may increase the likilihood of attaining it.
