The Oil Dome/Skillet Lovers Thread!

As Jibalt says, without repeating this hopefully the damage is minimal or non-existent.

The only information I have heard about metals is for aluminium which may have similar results to other metals. (This info is from my brother studying in biology, so I assume it's true but don't hold me to it) Apparently the inhalation gives the metal fast access to the brain and can cause some long-term trauma, commonly resulting in blood clots, and a general decrease in the brains maximum functioning.

Didn't say that to worry you, your probably fine man.

Yeah i was kinda feeling shitty last night but i'm better i think haha, yeah and all i needed was some consolation haha.

Hopefully its not too damaging, over here the standard for a lot of people to smoke from is a "shottie". You'll be grossed out when I explain:

Downpipe is normally made from rolled up tin can, put into plastic bottle and selotaped in place to stay upright. A small hard ball of rolling tobbaco is inserted to block the pipe, and ground weed is put on top. Its then smoked and when the tobac starts to burn you start to inhale quicker/harder and it "shots" down into the water allowing you to clear the smoke.

IMO its utterly grimey, tastes horrid and makes me choke so I don't smoke the horrible disgusting things, but many people swear by them and refuse to smoke anything else.

-Just cleaned my toro! she's a beauuttyy, but if the dabs are too big it tends to get clogged....
-I also realized i forgot to include the dome that goes over the nail on the illy, its just coated with wax and
completely disgusting so you're not missin anything...
-and fyi that tube to the left is what i run my BHO through, its made by Sour glass, and it is pristinely clean right now!

How is that Illadelph? I don't really like beakers but I heard they were overpriced and etc.

And do you like the toro double macro? I was hesitating between a single or double macro... do you have any experience with the single?

Your BHO looks good. I'd dab that! What strain is it made of?

Most definitely! I've only smoked off nails though. I haven't tried it off a skillet yet. They seem to be a bit less common than domes here in California.

Hmm i'm curious about that. I have seen them on videos, but never tried them.

Do you have to buy the cartridges with oil in them or can you make them yourself?
 
ive been smoking hash oil with my buddy out of his dome for a few weeks now. i cant do that shit every day though otherwise i dont end up getting high off real buds.

This my friends; is OG Kush Ether Amber Glass, this was made using ether as the solvent (obviously) and if it was done again the color would be much better but that shit is (was :D) insanely strong, I *heard* it was ran with a half oz. of buds and yielded like ~ 2 Grrrz. Can't ask for much else!

^i got the Omicron version 1.0 a few weeks ago and it's fuckin tight. The problem is that it makes wax wayyyyy to easy to smoke... haha i've been cuttin back hardcore. DO NOT OVERFILL THE CARTRIDGES! HOT OIL ON YOUR TOUNGE HURTS! hhaahah, i'm speaking out of experience!
 
Dabs are the way to go :D

I remember going to a snobby hash-bar in PB and instead of wax they called their hash nectar. I don't remember all the specifics to it but it was a requirement to only use the cola of the plant to make this nectar. It was definitely the tastiest and most potent dab I ever consumed but sadly they got shut down and I haven't heard of nectar since.

dabs on dabs on dabs! anyone ever smoke any oil that had butane left in it? it happened to me once and the way i noticed is because the hit felt like it ripped my breath away, it was rather strange. hopefully that will never happen again.
 
Ya ive gotten impatient before and have smoked some oil that still had a bit of butane in it.
Its not dangerous or anything, it just kills the taste a bit and is harsher on the lungs.

Dont be impatient, let your oil have time to breath and purge. Youll end up with a better product in the end anyway which is way more enjoyable to hit.'
