get this homoerotic soap opera nonsense out of the sports forum!
riiiiiiiiight. anyways...
Yeah man I am huge Pro Wrestling fan! I haven't been keeping up as much as I should but I too am a fan of Randy Orton. The guy can straight up perform. He's got great microphone skills, excellent mat skills, and has some pretty decent charisma.\
But my favorite wrestler for the last 4 years or so has got to be "The Rated R Superstar" Edge. He reminds a lot like Randy Savage. Very good from the top ropes, and he can make a crowd hate him or love him with one or two speeches.
And as embarrassing as it is to say, I am secretly becoming a fan of Shamus. Maybe it's just because I think John Cena is the biggest douchebag in the WWE, and Shamus seems to make habit of kicking his ass, but Shamus is a freaking monster.
Yeah Cena can go Suck It.
I think DX should just go away. I mean they were cool back in the mid to late 90's, but they should know when to give it up. HBK Shawn Michaels looks ridiculous with that bandana he wears. But I guess Vince needed some ratings boosts, so he decided to bring back DX.
As for TNA, well I applaud them for trying to keep up with WWE, and I actually think they have a great product, I don't like the fact they are trying to isolate themselves down in the dirty South of the U.S.A, basically talking smack about "That League on the East Coast".
I used to watch WCW anyday over WWF when it was the NWO verses DX, but I live in the North, and if they continually insult the region where I'm from, and never do shows north of Georgia, it will make it hard for me to support them.
And don't get me started on ECW, this whole WWE owned thing is a joke. Do you remember the original ECW from the 1990's? They put on some sick ass shows. I went to Heatwave 98 and 99 at Hara Arena in Dayton, Ohio, and the things they used to do would just make your jaw drop to the floor. Unbelievable shit they would do; scaffold matches, flaming tables matches, first girl to get stripped matches, you name it they did it.
But yeah man I'll back you up on the love for wrestling! Some folks just don't get it.
Do you ever watch any of the "indy leagues"? The real small leagues that are held in barns or American Legions? They might not have the glammer or glitz of WWE or TNA, but sometimes you get an awesome show, usually for only a few dollars. I've been going to a lot of these lately.
