I don't think A State of Trance is the best place to find new trance music. If I were you, I would check out the new stuff in "Black Hole Recording" catalog. Most of their stuff tends to be really good!
 
i haven't been booked to play an all breaks set in a while but it made for some great shopping last week. i think this is one of the freshest breaks tracks i've heard in years. i can't wait to enjoy it on club sound this friday.

Recommend Some Trance

Hello,

Never been big into electronic music. Went to Rainbow Serpent this year and my mind really clicked with what I heard. Now I feel like I need to have a fairly large collection of psychedelic trance but I don't know where to start.

Please recommend some good, weird, experimental trance. Or just good, weird, experimental music in general.

I need to broaden my horizons.

We'll I like to believe many of you know your house/electro/techno/trance music very well in here, so I figured this may be the best place to ask where I will get the best answers.

The music I'm listening to lately, keeps getting old I need new hot stuff, that will get me and my friends all pumped up. But the thing is they don't like pure beat music, they want the words too...So I was wondering what you would suggest for good party/rave/pump up music.

I suggest some Dirty South, David Guetta, Axwell, Above & Beyond, and Maor Levi.
