UDub was holding up fine until the the two TDs they gave up in roughly 30 seconds time in the 3rd. Boeckman was incredibly lucky the Huskies dropped two easy INTs in that first half. Even down 10, Locker was moving the team pretty well down the field and then the INT to Laurenitis was the play that finally got into his head and that was it

I digress, Washington really could not move the ball on OSU's defense and when they could move the ball they couldn't punch it in. despite the quick score before the first half, I would say OSU's defense was immaculate and everyone who picked the Huskies to upset the Buckeyes needed to find solace in watching the Auburn game.

And with each week it's looking like Ben Olson is a 5-star dud...never seen such a slow delivery and poor accuracy with passes within 10 yards from such a highly-touted player. Plus he can't outrun defensive tackles...yikes. Pat Cowan will have to get some consideration now since Ben is 50% passer.

Ben Olsen has never impressed me in the slightest.

Well the SEC may not be as strong as last year, but hey, Michigan still sucks!

I do think its Southern Cals turn this year, though I think if Florida beats LSU were gonna give em a run for the trophy, but its too early to say for sure. If LSU wins in a couple weeks, USC gots it for sure, if we win USC better watch out. Either way its gonna be USC - LSU or USC - UF

Well it wasn't like OSU was punching the ball in either until later in the 2nd half. Like I said, OSU was lucky with Boeckman never really paying for his mistakes. The game was relatively even going into halftime. Pretty much after OSU blocked UDub's FG try to extend it to 7 was when UDub ran into their slippery slope.

Olson looked good in his first-ever game last season, but has underwhelmed since then. He opened this season all right, though he was shaky for the 1st half. He has only played in 7 games so far, but his slow-motion style is annoying to watch.

You're kidding right? MAY NOT BE AS STRONG AS LAST YEAR?!?!?! what crack have you been smoking???

SEC has no.2 and 3 teams in the nation and both would whoop the dogshit out of the no.1. Then you have Alabama, arkansas, and Kentucky (wow I actually put them in there). Not to mention Auburn (who if they get their shit togather are a tremendous team), and Tennessee has played nothing but quality opponents. Tennessee will be a force to reckon with mid-season.

And I'd be willing to make the bet that I could pick the best three teams of the SEC and you can pick the best three teams of the rest of the NCAA and I'll win without a doubt 2/3 of those games.

SEC not as strong this year... it's the strongest confrence EVERY year.

Enough of the SEC elitism....

Look im a pretty hardcore LSU fan and i do think that the SEC is the deepest conf in most years but its only slightly better than the rest and there are years:gasp: where other conferences rise up and take the throne.....We lost some big OOC games this year....But thanks to Kentucky....we took a pretty big one back....

PAC-10 is looking really good this year....Had Washington taken out OSU then there would be some strong arguements that the PAC-10 was the strongest thus far this year (although UCLA def put a hamper on this arguement)

Either way its still way too early to say which conf's are strong and which are weak....

We'll wait at least until the BCS polls come out to start this conf superioirty argument..

I'll stand by my argument until someone can prove me otherwise.

I've watched Tim Tebow of florida, and I've watched LSU's Defense and I stand by my statement.

Hey buddy, dont get me wrong, I love the SEC, since I was like fuckin 5. I remember the gators getting their ass kicked by Notre Dame in 1990. I just dont believe the SEC as a whole is as strong as it was last year.

Last year Tennesee was a force early as was Georgia. LSU and Aubrun were up there. Plus Florida and Arkansas. and South Carolina was ranked for a while. Im sorry but last year the SEC was uber powerful. This year LSU and FLorida are the only ones that seem to be doing anything. SC hasnt really played anyone, Arkansas isnt even ranked, they lost.

LSU and Florida, thats it, they just arent as powerful as last year its a fact.

South carolina too, but just wait they a re so overrated its not funny! Bama hasnt played anyone yet and Kentucky defiantely aint!

^^Bama played Arkansas, who was ranked 16th who has mcfadden, runner up for the heisman last year, and jones, who had 1000+ yards last year. mcfadden had 195 yards rushing and 2 touchdowns and jones had 106 yards rushing in that game. they may not be a passing team, but they seem to do good for themselves w/ the 2 running backs they have.

i would say they are somebody, putting up 38 points and all.

Alabama georgia shold be a great game and college gameday is gonna be in tuscaloosa so I think that says something about the SEC

^yeah it says that Michigan fucked up their chance to have the crew at the Big House and this was the quick alternative with 'Bama's win last week because they didn't want to go back to LSU for the 2nd time in 3 weeks.

Atlas is just happy he has a fellow fan here who has to deal with disappointment and overhype, something he deals with every season with his team. :)

^ There aren't...YET.

Was watching Sportscenter and they were talking about Notre Dame. This is the first year in the school's ENTIRE history that they have started 0-4. Basically, this is the worst team the school has had in all of its 119 years lol.

Anyways, damn, that GA/ALA game was fun to watch.

Also, loved that fake FG by LSU. :)
