the official NCAA football thread

Yah you go Michigan - you show winless Notre Dame what's up. Give 'em the ol' what for and a how to...

Washington may have scored right before the end of the first half, but I don't think anybody who knows football can say that they were really contending during most of the game.

Hell yeah, KY got it done :D

Auburn didn't...again :|

So for the SEC, Auburn and TN should fall out of the rankings and SCarolina (and maybe even KY now) could be ranked. I do believe it is the end of the world as we know it. Though ND fans would have told you that already.

I'd agree with Axl - UW wasn't in the game for much, if any :\

UCLA...what? Number What? Lost by What? 8(

And Texas...c'mon, people...(left stands) OVER - (right stands) RATED :|

HELL FUCKING YES GO BIG BLUE!!!! First time since 1977 that we beat an opponent ranked in the top 10. First time since 2002 that we beat U of L and we break both bad streaks in one night! HELL YES! Now whats bad is we have to play FLorida, LSU, Alabama, Arkansas, Tennessee, and a struggling Auburn team. It's pretty disabling to think hey we gotta play the defending champs 2x and probably the team that will win the National title this year. In just confrence games.

But WOOT According to ESPN Kentucky is actually ranked 23rd in the nation (first time since 1984). I'm excited about football? What? And I'm a Kentucky fan... CRAZYNESS I TELL YOU!

Roll Tide Alabama is ranked for the first time since 2005. Ill tell you I was at the Arkansas game in Tuscaloosa that was the loudest I have ever heard it down there.

^^it sounded like it was real loud there on tv, i cant imagine it live. man, i would love to get back down there and go to a game.

Uh...UK and UF are in the East. You'd only lose to them once :|

But there is no need for LSU to worry, UK for a change is decent but we're still by no means a top tier power.... but at least they are up and coming.

OTOH, it wouldn't be the first time an "unstoppable" LSU team walzted into the SEC championship, and left with smeared make up and a sore anus ;)

*cough* '05 *cough* ;)

I <3 my conference

I wouldn't even know, I wasn't watching the game. I was just fucking around anyway; I'm not really taking the season really seriously this year. It's hard to with a start like Michigan put up.

And ND is a joke; I'd say that they were like a high school team, but that would be insulting to some of the better high school teams in the country.

UDub was holding up fine until the the two TDs they gave up in roughly 30 seconds time in the 3rd. Boeckman was incredibly lucky the Huskies dropped two easy INTs in that first half. Even down 10, Locker was moving the team pretty well down the field and then the INT to Laurenitis was the play that finally got into his head and that was it.

As for the debacle of Utah-UCLA...good lord. Dorrell has a penchant for having his team snoozing for what appear to be lock games...but that was ridiculous. It's easily the worst loss I've ever witnessed as a UCLA fan and the "Fire Dorrell" bandwagon has revived itself with some major backing. It was disgusting to watch. Right from the first moments of the game I could tell there was no fire or intensity shown by the team, a major problem of Dorrell's coaching ability.

And with each week it's looking like Ben Olson is a 5-star dud...never seen such a slow delivery and poor accuracy with passes within 10 yards from such a highly-touted player. Plus he can't outrun defensive tackles...yikes. Pat Cowan will have to get some consideration now since Ben is 50% passer.

Oh the hangover of a brutal loss...

haha....that was low

Well live in the past all you want....we'll give the team, that took yall down a week prior, a black eye and a whole other orifice to piss out of on your beloved Bulldogs ;)
