fucking hillbillies. Every single person from WV must have been there. The whole state only has the population of Atlanta, but there was lots of sickening yellow to be seen.

in my experience with visiting college campuses for football - Penn State fans are the worst. they were very vicious to my scarlet and grey crew two years ago, last time we were in Happy Valley. they like to start fights.
however, I actually have to say OSU fans are pretty vicious as well. I remember two years ago when the Texas game was going on in Columbus, EVERYONE would get heckled by students if you were wearing orange. older ladies and gentlemen would not even get special treatment. my friend from Oklahoma went to that game and it was the first college football game he has ever watched. even though the Buckeyes lost, my Okie friend remains a die-hard Buckeye fan to this day because he says that aligning yourself with OSU at OSU was like joining a gang -- Warriors style.
also, I grew up in OSU during the 80s/90s. I lived right across from the college campus and I could watch the rioting of OSU fans (if we won or lost a big game, didn't matter) right from my front porch.
I have witnessed cashiers at our local grocery store REFUSE to sell people items from the store during Michigan week for wearing a M hat or shirt.
I have witnessed a gang of thugs turn over cars, again during Michigan week, up and down high street who had Michigan state license plates.
I have witnessed my next door neighbor, who normally is a quiet, nerdy, engineer major, toss on a paper bag and draw eyeballs and a sad face and then beat his closest tree with a baseball bat. this was during the Texas game, though.
now I am not such a young hoodlum and I just enjoy the immense feeling of what college football brings to the capital city of Ohio. I like to enjoy a beer with some of the rival teams that visit, and maybe buy them a round... to show them that not everyone is so crazy out here.

Tennesee fans are terrible I was sitting in the tennesee section at an alabama game in tuscaloosa two years ago. We bought tickets off a scalper didnt know where the seats were. Yea Roman Harper caused a fumble through the end zone late in the game as tennesee was about to put the game away. Tennsee fan behind me kicked a coke all over me and my mom then wouldent apoligize I thought I was gonna kill him my mom had to restrain me. It was cool though because Bama won the sweetest revenge there is.

whats funny is how different it is in basketball season, I'd say Duke, UK, and UNC have the worst fans ever, we're all asshole pricks... and I know it to be a fact cause I am one.
But in football we feel bad for winning cause... well we're not supposed too... but if UK kept winning like this for 5 years or so... we'd be just as bad football fans as we are basketball fans.

I called that one totally. the Big East always does that. And as disappointing Rutgers has been this year, and how bad Rutgers played it shows how weak USF is. Both USF and Rutgers looked like Shit and the fact that USF could not capitalize on those horrendous turnovers shows what kind of team they really were. UCF plays Florida sometines, if USF wants respect put more better teams in their out of conference games. Maybe Alabama, Texas, Florida, hell Michigan. Any of those teams would probably put them into one of the beginning Coushy games.
strength of schedule should be the most important factor in the BCS poll. Its not how many yards you rack, touchdowns you score but WHO you beat.
thats, why Florida won last year, and what ever SEC team plays for it this year will do the same to whomever. Strength of schedule!
if the Louisville's, the USF 's 'and the Rutgers' would add a couple of major teams to the schedule I would respect them more Just for doing it. USF is good adding Auburn.

And another thing, I looked up the stats for OSU QB Boeckman and compared his stats to BC's QB, who is a Heisman Candidate and Boeckman has virtually the same stats as BC's QB, one more Int but that's about it.
And besides, we got our Heisman Trophy last year.

I don't know how you define powerhouse, but if OSU makes it to the NC game this year, and that's a big if, that would mean they been in the NC 3 out of the last 6 years. If that can't be called a powerhouse team I don't really know what you are looking for.
And let me also add that if in the last 3 years, the only losses OSU has had have been to:
In 2005: Penn State, who won their BCS game that yr against FSU, and Texas, who won the NC.
2006: Florida, National Champs.
I would say that is a pretty good resume.

auburn vs LSU tomorrow. i'm predicting....the tigers to win. 
seriously though...looking forward to a great game tomorrow night and hopefully not an ass-whooping. auburn does not have the offense it's had in the past 2-3 years and i loathe brandon cox. gotta shut down their offense for any chance at the W.

OSU LB James Laurinitas should be considered a Heisman candidate. that guy tears it up on defense.
but offensively I have to go with OSU's tight end Brian Robiskie. if he stays next year then he will most def. be up there in the Heisman candidates. however, there is also "the curse of Ohio State" for men's basketball and football. the curse means that our super stars only stay one year for basketball and two years for football -- NO MATTER WHAT. if we could get our guys to actually stay in college (like the Gators did for basketball) then every year wouldn't have to be a rebuilding year. oh well, I am starting to enjoy these so-called "rebuilding years."
Ray Rice looked damn good last night with a little bit under 200 yards. USF's QB Grothe looked like a leader at most times. however, both teams played very sloppy ball and it was a little bit disheartening that USF is considered the number 2 team in the nation.
say what you will about OSU, but I promise the Buckeyes can go toe-to-toe with any team in the nation right now and have a chance to win. counting Oklahoma and LSU, who I consider the two best teams in the BCS right now. the reason we could stay in the game with these top teams is because we have such a solid defense that allows us to capitalize on mistakes. and when OSU is playing mistake-free "Tressel Ball" we are in it to win it.
