The Official Flatmate wanted/needed thread

Hey guys.
Im not after a flatmate but a house for me and my partner. It needs to be in the hawkesbury area (sydney) and has to have room for horses and a dog. Approx. $350 a week rent. If you know of anyone who has something available please PM me.

How much land do you actually want? There's a shitload of properties out there at the moment and they don't seem to have been affected by the rent hikes. Would you go as far out as Glossodia?
 
yarni did you just make that suburb/far out sounding town name up? I lived in sydney for 4 years and i aint ever heard of it !

im not looking, just came into to see what all the noise was about.

Glossodia is too far.. I need at least 2 acres. i have found the perfect place in Glossodia but it would take my partner 2 hours + to get to work. he doesnt drive and public transport out there is limited, he'd pretty much have to walk to the station. I have been looking non-stop for a month. The rents havent gone up but everywhere decent gets taken in a few days of it being put up. I am out there 3 days a week trolling through the rental lists at estate agents and still im looking. Shoot me now. I want out.
 
My partner is looking to move to sydney. He works there and has a mon-fri 9-5 job so can pay rent etc easily etc etc Looking for share accomadation.

I'd rather him move to newcastle but I don't think that's going to happen :p

So anyone looking for a flatmate who works fulltime etc ... think closer to hornsby/chatswood/north shore he would prefer (from memory)

21yr old, works 60hrs a week, seeks room in a home in Sydney's eastern suburbs, inner city or inner west kinda area.
Clean, relatively quiet, can cook well (when not lazy), understanding, reliable with all things monetary.

^^ You mean the thought of missed rent payments, having your stuff stolen and getting vomit on all your stuff doesn't appeal to you??

You are not nearly as hardcore in real life as you are in my fantasies.
