^Ok, so that didn't work out.
I'm still after my aforementioned post...I'll add that in here too for easy reference.
When will the quest to move eeeend?
I'm 22, female, non-smoker, with four years experience in shared living arrangements.
I'm after something which is reasonably close to the city..looking at perhaps Fitzroy or Clifton Hill.
Need someone/s to move out with however...or a pre-existing housing arrangement.

Anyway about me-
im a 23 y/o female
work full time mon to fri
smoker. (either choose to smoke in ur room or outside)
other housemates
27-30 yr old male
one unemployed
one working fulltime mon to fri
one smoker
About the house-
south east suburbs of Melb north dandenong
4 bedrooms all with BIR only one is available back room near kitchen so its a bit more private.
close to transport and shops
really nice quiet type area
average sized bedroom, big enough for double/queen size bed
house is fully furnished (except for room)
shared bathroom
no pets allowed.
all bills will be split between 4
rent will be $55 p/w
if theres anything i've missed pm me and i'll be happy to tell.

Alrigfht i've looking at 1 bedroom places for a while now and they're all junkie homes (think trainspotting) but its basically all i can afford, so i've given up on that one and am now looking for someone to move out with.
The areas im looking at are caulfield, carnegie, elsternwick - around these suburbs.

Guys im looking at buying an apartment in Melbourne early next year- probably Hawthorn/Kew area......will be 3b/r....u'l have to share with me and my gf, but we're not too crazy

Does anyone know of any good resources for finding a flat in Sydney?
I'm currently using Flatmate Finders, which is pretty good, but are there any papers or other places you would recommend?
We (my partner and I) are looking for a place ... Paddington/Darlinghurst/Newtown maybe/Glebe/Potts Point/other similar or nearby areas considered.
