You'd be goosed with those full body scanners. I got herded through one on the way back from Amsterdam. Luckily I'd shat out of bringing anything back with me, because I would have put it down by my baws & I would have got caught.

I've been to Ibiza plenty times & I don't even know what that is.
 
Potinax is a wee town in the north of the island. My pal said it was worth going to see. Picturesque with nice beaches and shit.

Although PDB beat San An for lots of things i was surprised how dirty it really is. I was so wrecked the first time i went i never really noticed but last year i did a lot more walkng about and was surprised at how run down, dated and generally manky it really is. Obviously not bad enough to put me off. Folkk say Benidorm is dirty....PDB is far dirtier and run down IMO.

Barcelona and Sonar would piss on Ibeefa.
 
first rule of smuggling NEVER have it on your body - if your caught thats it no excuse. There are far better ways of doing things which I wont talk about as its verbotten - but in my youth a read a book called Snowblind and made a bit of cash on a few jaunts.

I have lived in spain/tenerife for a number of years - the hash will blow your mind and the snow is proper and not dear.

I would doubt that. Don't get me wrong Sonar looks amazing but in ibiza its literally 24/7 with drugs on tap at all times and always something or some event to keep you interested.

The things that annoy me about ibiza is :-

the blatant rip off pricing of booze. 8euro a beer........yet in Magaluff its 25Euro unlimited drink all night (Would never go back to Magaluf, was there when i was 19!)

The previously mentioned vest wearing, muscly TOWIE type cunts. But they are all based in SAN AN so im not exposed to many of these cretins in PDB.

Thats about it. Its the fucking nuts especially in PDB where its an older crowd.
 
I will be going. Fancy a week in September (tbc) staying in PDB, but may well have another shorter stay.

Yeah people who have been sonar says ibiza does shit all over it, its would be just nice for a change I guess though. But you have to weigh up what you want, a better holiday or a change lol and ibiza always seems to deliver

Funnily enough if you go down the west end you do get them kind of drink offers though, all you can drink for 10euro for an hour etc its just in the big clubs they know they can and do take the piss, icing on the cake when the bar woman takes the 2 euro change for your 18 euro drink without asking, yeah cheers. Thought I wasnt coming up in pacha so had 3 beers, 50 or euro laters theres not much you can do, I guess its just steering towards just taking drugs, you would literally have to have hundreds to try and get pissed somewhere like pacha. I think Sankeys is the only club with reasonable drink prices.

In the shops its cheap though, like bottle of vodka 6-7 euro etc like you said though you can avoid them TOWIE cunts with the places you go, although a lot of them do seem to be invading the techno nights

Anyone reading that who hasn't been, bear in mind that sort of price is only in the big "super" clubs. It's still cheap as fuck to get bottles of vodka & shit out a shop. It doesn't even bother me anymore tbh, I just drink during the day then gub loads of ecto in a club. It would be nice to be able to afford to drink when going to Space for the full Sunday though.

8 euros is cheap tbh, cost me the best part of 50 euro for a couple of drinks (Jack Daniel's I think) & a bottle of water in Amnesia. That was a fucking shock to the system the first time I went.

Edit - Just noticed that matt's already said that lol, that's what I get for leaving tabs open while having dinner.

Space sundays is a pain in the tits. Always a good line up but who the fuck wants to be in a club from 4pm where a bottle of water is 6 euro and your not allowed out and back in. Apparently SPACE used to allow pass-outs nso you could pop out, get a few cheap beers and water and go back in to carry on cutting shapes. I went last year for all of 2 hours for 60 euro. Felt financially raped that evening!
 
Aye it's a bit of a cunt. The actual club itself is ideal for spending a whole day in as well. Plenty of places to sit about & chill out. It would be good if the drinks were priced reasonably enough to allow you to laze about getting pished all day then get on the eckies at night. They definitely did used to allow you to go out & back in, I've done it before. I wasn't aware they'd stopped (but it was a few years ago when I last tried to), I think you had to be back in before a certain time though.

You're a muppet for paying full price to Space on a Sunday man, there's always cunts with cheap passes kicking about the beach during the day.
 
I remember getting to Ibiza in 91 ands spending the first night in es paradis on 2-3 doves with 2 mates and agreeing that we would get a cab back as it was the 1st night and we had been up for 24h already. in the cab what I acually said was 'vamos al Space por favor' (I speak Spanish) my mates thought we were going back to the villa and 15m later we pulled up at Space back then it was abouit £7 to get in and the place just blew me away - they use to have a huge swing that went over the dance floor so eee'd up nutters would be flying over yer head. The opulance was amazing and it was only a year old so it was nice and shiny.
PDB is nice but the sodding planes going over would drive me bonkers - we stayed in a villa in the hills and got a car for 2 weeks
 
Friend has been looking at building plots out there and has asked if I want to help with the build if he goes through with it, I would obviously but I'm a little afraid of how that could pan out, could end up messy.I told the wife and she looked a bit scared.
 
I'm already booked for June 30-July 6. First weekend all the parties really get going. Can't wait to hit Carl Cox opening.
 
I remember going to Aguamar when I was a kid as well (like 10+ years ago). It is such a run down shit hole now, and it werent all that great at the time either.
