my mum used to tell me stories of strange ghost encounters and the like that she has experienced, so for the sake of wishing that she's not insane, i kind of believe in the supernatural :p

on to a story of my own...

one day, i was down here typing away on the computer, i heard my mum screaming out to me angrily... so i run upstairs and she is very annoyed at me for leaving the hot water tap for the bath on full pell! but i was never upstairs, i didn't touch the tap!

apparently she heard the sound of water running strongly and went upstairs to investigate, to find the hot water tap on at full strength and the bathroom filled with steam.

her simple explanation for this was - the cat did it.

my cat hates water...
my cat isn't strong enough to turn the tap on...
if somehow the cat had turned it on, it would have definitely been by accident, and he would have fallen into the bath at the same time and gotten wet...

i just can't see the cat having turned the tap on!

all the doors were locked, and i checked every room and every corner of the house.

so... who turned on the tap?
