Stumps after Day 1.

Australia 0/60 trails by 89 runs. It's going to be another whitewash, although if the Windies get a couple of quick wickets in the morning, maybe things will get interesting.

I think it'll go as you said swifty. The aussies will pile up a large enough total to only bat once, and most likley knock the Windies over for another measly total.

Well if they can only manage 149 runs on a day one wicket 8) fuck knows how they're gonna go on a day three/four wicket....

yeah, so..... why weren't we discounting them again?? Now australia can plug away, make a huge 600 run total and probably not have to bat again and still win.....

Yeah yeah, already regretting it 8)

Two fairly average decisions but that is the game of cricket. Let's just hope they can actually put up a fight in the second innings otherwise it's going to make for a fairly average series.

My god I'd hate to be a West Indian right now, they're being torn to pieces at the hands of hussey and hayden....

It's a fucking bloodbath....

EDIT: Also, don't ask me why the #1 is less than the #3. Strange. Maybe balls faced?

Nice work x, guess that slots that partnership in at 9th, not too bad really, considering it's only the 3rd time they've batted together...

Oh damn you Moe! :p
I meant Australian partnerships.

EDIT: Make that Test Match Batting Partnerships made by Australian Players.

*covers arse*

Number one is less than number three because it is the record for each partnership - i.e. first wicket, second wicket, third wicket etc.

dont blame trevor hohns, blame merv hughes. ever since he took borders job the selections have been god awful. i saw him on foxtel a few days ago b4 the 2nd test being interviewed by bj, the comments he was coming up with were outrageous, especially about the role of hussey, basically indicating that if there was not an openers job available then hussey wouldnt get a run. hopefully he will have to reconsider for the 3rd test when langer is back and there is the number 5 spot up for grabs because you cant deny him a spot if there is onoe available after a very decent century today

man i really hate whats happening in australian cricket post ashes, martyn being dropped, CA denying the request for a full time bowling coach, the search for a new all rounder (should be a reality tv show cos the two main contenders are morons from queensland with the combined personality of a mullet) etc etc
