I suppose we'll have to pay yearly maintanance?

Fair play to you aussies, you are making the last day interesting 127-5

:Note to self, shoot Warne
I don't think many people here would argue with that.

You can gloat all you want, but I'll still be laughing about the Football long after you've finished laughing about The Ashes. ;)

Just because England won the ashes will they be playing the rest of the world in the next couple of months? Nope it's still australia- when you play a rest of the world match then we'll call you the best in the world!
God i hope we win, that'll shut youse up!
Does that also mean that next time England plays New Zealand they'll lose just like they rugby after the world cup?
Anyway after 10 years domination in cricket, rugby, netball it seems like Australia' national sports are all on the slide ah well we had a good run!
Come and try and beat us a game we invented- Aussie Rules at least we'd still win that or Swimming providing Ian Thorpe doesn't become a full time male-model

That was fucking hell funny H@ndo! =D

Yeah, well, I want that time in my life back after all the cricket I have watched!

I must admit, asmuch as I really hate to say this:

The best team won the series

That's a good Boy !!! ;)

Should make for a cracking series against the World XI, and I expect the Aussies to be firing on all cylinders for it.

INGERLAND, INGERLAND, INGERLAND

O' and what's with all the "Englands first major sporting win since the
1966 World Cup (soccer) ??!!??!!?? 8)

I'm pretty sure we won the Rugby World Cup pretty recently also..............

Apparently Freddie Flintoff is demanding a public appearance fee of $240000 (AUD) every time he makes a...errr...public appearance.

I disagree with the majority....I think Australia played as well as the Poms....but a few unlucky coin tosses (they batted second in the last 4 Tests), along with the weather in the final Test counted against us.

No sour grapes....It was an "amazing series", with lots of "amazing players", "amazing crowds", "amazing pitches", "amazing performances" and "amazing umpires".

Kevin Pieterson should stop buying hair dye and buy a thesaurus. :)

^ And fuckoff back to South Africa! ;)

Is that $240,000 AUD? or is there an extra 0 in there?
God dayyyum.

EDIT: I don't get the Thesaurus joke :\

LOTP, I reckon you could add a few ultra dodgy umpiring decisions in there too...

I ain't a cricket fan but it does give me joy to see the Aussie cricket team get beaten, all the hoopla about the Aussie's winning 5 nil blah blah blah and they lost YAY! arrogant fools ;)

Peace LOve and Mungbeans

8) ....................... =D Mwahahahaha !!! =D

1) Ponting won the toss in the Second Test and chose to FIELD ???
2) Weather SAVED you in the 3rd Test
3) We had you in our pocket pretty much the last 4 tests. We did however make it hard for ourselves by lacking the killer touch ......... but we are out of practice in that department ;)

Face it we had a plan against everyone of the Aussies and managed to execute that plan very well the majority of the time. /nuff said/

The one and only SHANE WARNE (Legend = FACT) was the only one who kept you in it this series and kept the scorelines respectfull...... IMHO !!

^^ you can't play down the fact that there was about at least 6 borderline lbw calls through the series, not to mention the "no ball" that would've seen pieterson out yesterday for lbw, plus there was about 6 no balls in the final test that were definitely in... any other time I'd say that umpiring decisions cannot be held responsible for the outcome of a game, the only exception to that is cricket...

I will concede though that australia needed that wake up call, in fact I think the ODI loss to bangladesh should've been that wake up, but sometimes arrogance knows no boundaries...

Hopefully the aussie selectors take a long hard look at our line up....

I will agree that England had more of the luck through the series for sure, however Australia have had the luck with them often enough in the past ......................it was just Englands turn (for a change).

Anyway...............YOU MAKE YOUR OWN LUCK !!!!
