The days of light meters, big screens and the third umpire - and they still can't get it right.

Pity about a few stupid spectators at third man, put fences up like at Mumbai I say, if they can't behave themselves.

After the New Zealand crowd pelt our cricketers with plastic beer bottles amongst whatever else they could find, and spit on Haydon, John Bracewell the Kiwi Coach has the gaul to come out and say it was a "Stalling tactic" when Punter quite rightly decided to stop play and have something done about it. Bracewell you are a fucktard and i'm sure the Australian team will love your comments, and so you are my weelky winner of the "Give the opposition more ammo" award. If you thought Mcgrath's 4 for 16 was good wait till the test matches.
 
God, that was disgusting.

Can't anyone put up a fight against these guys? I thought NZ was supposed to be the second best ODI team in the world. Shit. Not worth watching the rest of the series.

The Kiwis are the 2nd best ODI side in the world and that just goes to show how big the gap is between Australia and the rest of the world. I watched most of the game and it was a pretty crap game. The NZ bowling was terrible with the only exception being Vettori. Even Cairns was bog average and his change of pace and ability to mix it up is usually pretty good.
The Kiwis are really struggling when Flemming has to fire shots at the Aussies in the post match conference about running on the pitch. That was an absolute load of shit that Hussey got penalised for. He played a shot off balance and headed off for a run and took maybe 3 steps down the middle of the pitch before getting off to the side. It was just an example of Bowden being played by Flemming. What makes it funny is that people bitch about the Aussies influencing the umpires! Bowden's decision had everyone confused, not even the commentators could work out what was going on. But yeah anyway how poorly are the kiwis travelling when their captain needs to bitch about that stuff to the press. I think the kiwis have realised how short of Australia they truely are and Bracewell and Flemming have been trying to 1. divert attention from their shortcommings and 2 play mind games with the aussies in some vain hope that it might put em off their game. Not going to happen, the aussies are the most mentally hardened team in the world.

The only time the kiwis look close to being good is when Vettori is bowling and Hamish M is fielding.

But I'll still go back and watch some more.:\
 
I'm not sure Bowden should even be umpiring at the top level. Where there is no room for error some of his signalling is confusing and and to make no bones I dislike him and his style. Leave the quirks and the nuances to the players themselves and you will attract far less attention to yourself Billy.

Kiwis were a bit soft out there with the pieces not really falling into place . . . Cairns a stand out non performer as well as Fleming and of course Mills who we all know as being fucking village at the best of times.

About time we had some solid pitches and cricket dedicated grounds as well but this will take eons to implement as NZ Cricket is too poor.

New Zealand all out for 131 runs, 7 Batsmen out l.b.w, only one catch and the other two bowled. I can't remember an Australian bowling card like it. Didn't get a chance to see any of the dismissals but i can't help but wonder what Bracewell will have to say about all the l.b.w's given out.:\

He can't possibly blame the umpires for this? Or the aussies influences on the umpire?

7 lbw's can only mean our bowlers are exceptional.


Or that their batters suck.
 
How do you go from scoring 433 and having the opposition 6/206, to getting completely flogged??

Not team seems to have the ability to put Australia to the sword when they have the ascendency. And it just reiterates the point i continually find myself making: HOW GOOD IS GILCHRIST??
 
Can you put the blame on new zealands fast bowlers?

The only way to challenge the aussies, is by taming the top order and stopping gilchrist.

Then you need to get over the best bowling attack in the world.

Is there possibly any test side able to challenge us on a regular basis? A team that won't just challenge us for one innings, but the whole test series?
