I don't have a problem with heroin.
I have a problem with people who share needles and works and whatnot. HIV & Hepatitis are not good.
Other than that, shoot it up! (Not that I've ever done it.)

i guess all ive got to say is that if any heroin user was to take some initiative and talk to some doctors and medical experts, they would tell you that heroin is fatal. Its not fatal in one dose, or even two, but repeated use, no matter how rare, will bring you down. And thats not DARE talk, opiates destroy the human body extremely slowly. Shooting heroin isnt all bad obviously, but it will take years off your life, no doubt. This isnt something from a dancesafe brochure, but the real deal. Ive spoken to many people in the pathology and toxicology fields about this.

Sorry, but heroin has to be the best opiate high there is. There's a reason it's so popular. Dilaudid and oxymorphone come in a close second. It will ineviatbly destroy you if you become a regular user (yes, I know people who have managed not to become one despite decades of use...), however, and most people will eventually fall into habitual usage. Many of my best friends have been destroyed in slow and painful ways from abusing the stuff. It is still one of the best feelings ever, though.
And it makes you grow hair on your palms, or so I've been told...

Snapper...Dilaudid and Oxymorphone come in a close second? Shit man, what kind of smack do you get? Those are probably the most clandestine opiates anyone could get their hands on and from what I hear BLOW even the best smack out of the water.
Also Swagnum, I agree. I am down with opiates and smack, but I am not, personally, down with needles. That is to say that I MYSELF, am not comfortable with administering IV injections on myself. I would only feel comfortable having a medically trained technician administer one for me. Not because I think that IV drug use is the root of all evil, but rather because I don't feel I could properly do this without causing visible and internal damage to myself. But for all you IVers who know your shit, keep on shootin'.

I had to delete a LOT of replies from this thread - did you people READ THE POST? This is a thread for ANTI-HEROIN COMMENTS ONLY!
kyk (and everyone else) - I deleted your reply but will address the point - the problem is that we have WAY TO MANY instance where someone asks a question about heroin - ANYTHING - and regardless, we have people the ring in with comments such as those you see in this thread - well, because it's not of benifit to the thread, I delete these comments, this thread serves as a means for people to preach their percieved evils of the drug, and if someone wants to get a lecture, they have this thread to come to... I am sick of having threads turn to flame wars with the anti-heroin people making their comments (as you see here) then the pro-heroin people responding to their points...

PhreeX - In case you haven't been keeping up, this thread consists of 90% pro-heroin posts. I have a pretty solid idea that you knew that would happen before you posted this in the first place.
I realize that you're looking for every post to keep strictly on topic without a tangent to expand the conversation into different angles of viewing. I'm simply worried that you will start deleting posts in other threads that 'cast heroin in a negative light.' If you want to address a point, address that one.
Also, if this is the case, will this apply to every drug? Will a thread about duster maintain strictly affirmative and informative posts?

90% pro-heroin? I did my best to clean it up, and as-is, it is mostly anti-heroin (ie "sticking a needle in your arm is retarted") ...
But since it's not really serving it's purpose, I will close it...
Still, if someone asks a legit question, I will NOT HESISTATE TO DELETE ANY ANTI-HEROIN DRIVEL UNLESS IT WAS WARRANTED!
