the official 2010 NBA thread vers. LeBron James

alright :) I like arguing with you LL. even though this forum sometimes reduces itself to axl VS LL. we're both fans of the game and I will always give LA props when they usually win the Championship. I am just hoping the Cleveland can do it this year, with what will be their final year with LBJ. overall, I just love watching and playing the game of basketball. it's poetry in motion

Cavs VS Nuggets tonight! should be a great game, thank the gods I get Thursday nights off to watch basketball. I know its been said that I place too much important on the regular season, but hot damn I just love watching this sport. can the Cavs extend their win-streak to 14?

how long you been watching basketball, son? you seem like you just popped out of your momma's belly. you ever seen Jordan? Kobe? shiiiiiiiiit, I don't get paid enough to deal with comments like that over here.

Lol.

the Mavs are doing a good job in making a case for a playoff run. good luck to them. the Western Conference needs it. despite the Lakers and Nugs it's overall a very boring conference to watch these last couple years.

Ever since the Mavs gave up thier 3-0 lead to Miami for the NBA championship, and lost 4 in a row, i just dont put a whole lotta eggs into the Mavs basket.

We'll see though

i would like to see Dirk get a title though

i had some great seats for the latest magic-cavs meetup! felt like a playoff game and was a great win! yay!

this sunday, i get to see the lakers play for the first time, i'm pretty excited. i'd love to see orlando win again, but i'm not sure they can pull it off.

that's all i have to add.

^ that's what I'm hoping for. they were the obvious choice this time last year as well, but came up short because their in-paint play was lacking. this season, they are destroying their opponents in paint thanks mostly to Shaq and great defensive play by Anderson Varajao.

however, the only thing that scares me with the Cavs is the Shaq injury. the Cavs got to a slow start because they had to re-learn how to play with Dies. now with Shaq gone until the playoffs on injury, it will be difficult for the Cavs to find a rhythm. the only good sign is that without Shaq they have been destroying teams like they usually do.

Cavs are going to win the NBA finals this year

No way. They won 2 ECF games last year, they'll win 3 at the most if they get lucky. There's no way LeBrick is getting his ring. Dallas, Lakers, and Denver can easily close out the Cavs in a 7 game Finals set up. Even better that Cavs get the home record.
They will lose 1 game at home, then a team like Dallas, Denver, Lakers will get 3 home games in a row. The West isn't even worried about the East. Child's play...

Oh and lebron is such a bandwagon fag. as soon as ESPN starts talking about retiring jordan's jersey, he wants to switch his number to 6, in honor of jordan lmao. #6 is Bill Russell's number, and he deserves the same respect as jordan. Win at least 1 championship before you use the most winning number in basketball history.
