Women should just stay out of sports.

Wait just a minute, Benefit.

If you keep making posts like that last one, a bunch of women are going to get very angry, band together, and start attempting to get other things for women, like the right to vote.

yeah... that's why I called them your "stripper girlfriend." is she going to put on her classy shoes tonight or is she going to spit on mom's face?

Well, either way, I would rather it be 2-1 as it is now as opposed to Boston winning both at home, then the Pistons winning their first at home. Detroit's proven they can beat Boston at home, so if they send it back tied up, they aren't in bad shape.

this game is looking in favor of Detroit. as much as they dominated the turn over differential, Boston has been staying with the Pistons via foul shots.

but man, do the Celtics look ever so sluggish. what's up with that? they seem to have no hustle or skip to their steps. this could be a problem if it continues or progresses.

wow they must have been tired to let detroit finish the game with a 16-2 run....

I think 7 of those last 16 were put up by reserves, so they hardly count. At that point, the game was over.

Another terribly called game by the refs; and I hope you realize that I am not just saying that because this time the bulk of the bad calls went against Detroit. Game 2 was terribly called, but Detroit had the majority of the calls go their way that game.

Anyway, so many ticky-tack fouls. When it was 67-62 (Detroit), Boston had scored 32 of their 62 from the foul line. That's just unbelievable. Let the boys play.

I reinforce my earlier sentiment: Detroit is in good shape. They have proven that Boston is beatable at home, and they got a little bit of momentum traveling to the Garden.

Detroit is in great shape. actually, I want the Pistons to win it all.

huntmich: your announcer at the Palace has the BEST announcing chops ever. "Detroit basketball on the sideline!"

the foul calls were ridiculous - specially when I realized that more than half of Boston's baskets were from the foul line. however, if you look back a page you will see how I addressed the recent surge of piss-poor playoff officiating. and I still stand by that statement.

the lakers got a way with one last night... that was absolutely a foul on fisher @ the buzzer. almost choked away a 7 point lead with under a minute to go... if memory serves

^^^^^what?!?!?!?! If Barry wouldve jumped into fisher with a jump shot and not try just to make contact before the shot he may have gotten the call......no NBA referee worth their weight would give away a game like that......Im not even a lakers fan, but the nba knows they would have absolutely robbed the lakers if barry went to the foul line last night......

I fucking hate Mason.

Definitely, definitely a foul.
Should've shot two.
Fuck em. Can't stand Ginobili's face/haircut/flopping.

Doh, I think detroit is done for! Really hurts when their star player (Rasheed Wallace) cant keep his cool long enough not to get technicals, and now possibly no rip hamilton, i think this series is over..............

sasha cold blooded for that last 3, rofl.

Well, this appears to be the end for this current setup of my Detroit Pistons. They're old and they haven't been able to reach the finals in 3 years with a team that really should be able to any given year, and CERTAINLY should have the 2 of the last 3.

My predictions:Coach Saunders is gone (thank Christ). McDyess probably is traded or retires, which is too fucking bad because this was probably his last best shot at ever getting a ring. Sheed is gone. Chauncey is probably gone. My guess is that they keep either Tayshaun or Rip in an attempt to keep some sense of transition to the new guys, Stuckey, Aflallo, Amir Johnson, and Jason Maxiell.

But these new guys have really proven themselves to be a talented, tough young group of players. Stuckey has proven himself to be a capable point with ice water running through his veins; Maxiell may, in fact, eat babies when he's not eating rebounds (see: http://detroitbadboys.spreadshirt.com/us/US/Shop/Article/Index/article/Jason-Maxiell-Eats-Babies-1871540).
Amir Johnson and Afflallo are just loaded with potential.

Oh and Iceberg, I will destroy you for posting that vid again ;)

bring on the young Pistons. they are going to be just as tough the following years with Maxiell, Stuckey, and of course Hamilton.

Agreed Axl; I'm looking forward to see how they mature and progress together.

no one thinks bostons going to show up???? LOL Ray Allen just starting to get his touch back, Kevin Garnet aka Man Beast... I think it will be more competitive than everyone thinks.....
