Never heard this song until it played randomly on another’s phone (completely out of context for the music chosen to be played and out of context for their algorithm) one of the last days i spent cleaning out my dead sibling’s living space.
I asked what it was and described it as ‘a whole mood.’
Regardless, it has been on repeat in my life and head since then.
Seems easier to wade into feeling these things this way rather than drown in the finality of everything all at once.
A word for those listening to the wise: Even if you don’t use opiates that might contain fentanyl…please…have narcan handy and know how to use it.
Do not use your DOC alone.
And when partying together at least one needs to chose to not use recreationally if you are all using recreationally at the same time as everyone else you are with.
The window of opportunity is but a sliver of light if everyone is unconscious in the dark.
