@darvocet21 good day Ihope. Sorry for being obtuse, arrogant, asshole etc, touching nerves, maybe near offending.

I've really humbled myself now. No downside to it.

Still. We learn,in my case, by being an arse.

I do learn though.

Thank you for prodding in good meaning to remind me of this thing called humility.

Whatever I still believe about X,Y or L for Lennon lol jk.

I hope this doesn't come off as to strange I really mean this.

So. This one. Just lately I have really fallen in love with it on the highest quality stereo system these really are the absolute best tracks for my LSD trips these days.

This is pure.

A college friend who introduced me to the Jesus and Mary Chain also introduced me to Husker Du which had one of the most psychedelic album covers I'd ever seen. I was expecting some music that was completely different than this which is still pretty good

Yeah, that is some pretty impressive artwork, probably more so than the album itself. None of Husker Du's albums were ever totally satisfying for me, but there are about a dozen of their songs from 1983-86 that I really enjoy a lot, most of them written by the drummer, Grant Hart (a fellow heroin addict, RIP).

I think together we would have awesome vinyl collection! I sold mine for drugs unfortunately, the rare import shit, colored vinyl, blah blah.
Yeah, a lot of mine have been sold, lost, or stolen over a couple of chaotic decades of drink and drugs. I still have a few good ones but don't have a record player to hear them on right now.

When I get bummed out thinking about all the sentimental stuff I lost, I console myself with an NA saying – just think of it all as "things you lost in a fire" and don't agonize over it.

I don't know where we're going
But I sure know where we've been.
It just keeps getting better,
There seems to be no end.
Worst we ever had was sort of wonderful
And she's got ways of making my heart grow comfortable.

Lord, what a woman;
what a woman and she's mine.

I sold my entire vinyl collection, like hundreds, for a bus ticket from NY to VA! One of many wrong moves over the course of decades also. Then I vowed I would NEVER collect CD's. Mainly for aesthetic reasons. And sound. I like the fuzz and scratchiness of vinyl. But, I did in fact collect those fuckers too. And by piecemeal...out the door they went. And right into my arm. I don't agonize anymore about material stuff. I agonize over the loss of people. You're cool dude.
