Quick little story about Dropkick Murphy's. The lead singer, Al Barr is from the town I lived in. Several years ago he made an appearance at the high school for kids that weren't successful at traditional school. There were only about 25 students total there, my son being one of them. I just thought it was a cool thing for Al to do. My son still has his autograph hanging up in his room.

Ah, that's a lovely thing to hear. Hope your son liked - what did he make of it?..did Barr sing? 😉💖

I'll check with him when he gets home. I know he was excited about it His dad passed in 2017 and DM was one of his favorite bands. Just the fact that he took the time to go to that school and hang out was cool.

So he didn't sing. My son said Al's dad, Woody was a volunteer aid at the school. So Al came in to talk about how he got into music and such. My son says both of them were very cool guys.
