DARE didn't do much to deter me from many drugs but footage of PCP users freakin out and getting physically aggressive + Big Lurch's um...mishap were enough to discourage me from ever giving it a try.

In March of 2009 the Washington Post reported that 10 percent of adults in D.C.’s justice system tested positive for the drug. The National Institute on Drug Abuse’s 2010 Monitoring the Future study reported that 1 percent of 12th graders had used PCP in the year prior to the survey, and 2.5 percent have tried it in their lifetimes. For perspective, at the height of the drug’s popularity in the ‘70s, 13% of high school seniors said they had used PCP.

I agree. From experience, PCP doesn't seem any more prevalent now than any other time. The following that I quoted from your quote seems to support that, also.

Out of all the people i have known that have tried PCP including myself none of them "lost it" or acted violently at all. Most people i know had much the same reaction i did which was basically being so fucked up off a unknown dose of PCP that moving is almost impossible. The 1 time i smoked angel dust i was basically paralyzed for hours and had to get 2 friends of mine to hold me up so i could take a fucking piss! The thought of getting violent certainly never crossed my mind and in anycase my grandma could have beaten me up when i was in that state.

They must be running out of drugs to scare people with if they are going back to the old if you smoke angel dust you go on a rampage while running around naked beating up children and old people and raping women while killing well armed cops with your bare hands type stories. I mean most people i know have never even heard of PCP (outside of sherm or angel dust being mentioned in certain songs) let alone tried the stuff. I haven't seen any in about 12 years.
 
A few years back I had half a kilo uncut of the stuff. Testing to find the right dose and I was basically paralyzed for about 5 hours. After that, I was always the DD when others tried it, they couldn't walk or talk straight. It made me paranoid as hell and videos taken while on it are freakin hilarious 8o They can usually trace it back to its source by analyzing the amount of cyanide still present as one of the steps in making it uses sodium cyanide, that's when I said "No more for me"
 
I have done PCP two times and both times sucked ass... The type i did was sage leafs soaked in PCP and it came in a dime bag... Kinda looks like soggy weed and smells like burning plastic; such a pungent order not even smoked. Once you smoke it the smell is like thousand times stronger

My Three Reasons why i won't ever do PCP again:

1) It tastes/smells like burning plastic has such a strong smell you can smell it through the baggie placed in your fucking pocket.

2) It makes me pull a exorcist Puke-a-thon for a good 2 hours

3) I was unable to walk or even focus my eyes the whole room would not stop fucking spinning for a good 2 hours

I was 100% sure when I clicked on this article it was going to be about Philly. I don't know why that shit is so fuckin popular out there, it got to be one of the only cities they sell "wiggles" (pcp in philly) on the block like rocks and diesel. It's crazy how big it is out there, but out here nobody fucks with it at all, it's like unheard of these days.

2 of my good friends, one from N Philly and one from Southwest, are hooked on that shit and one of em just finally checked into a rehab like a month and a half ago. I never fucked with it myself, but I seen both them get fuuuuucked up off it. For some reason it's "accepted" in the hood, like neither of them would ever do some dope or smoke some hard, but that shits just a part of life for em.

+1. Getting "stuck" is basically what happens when people smoke too much PCP ime. PCP isn't very different from DXM, in fact, DXM makes me feel more like shit than PCP does. And yeah, I too haven't seen any PCP anywhere in 9 years.

You sound like you had much the same experience that i did. I felt sick as a fucking dog until most of the effects wore off. I must have puked about 5 or 6 times that night. I'll never forget the feeling i got when it started to kick in. I remember everything getting real weird real quick and my body felt fucked. I knew as soon as it kicked in that i was going to regret it.

Still id maybe try a low dose of it again but only if i knew the dose and could get it in snortable forum so i could take small doses and work my way up.

It does feel way more like DXM then ketamine. However PCP made me feel much worse then DXM ever did. Maybe i just smoked way too much :\
 
In my experience PCP is pretty non-existent unless you hit certain cities like Philly, DC, or Houston. I haven't figured out why. Wherever you come across it though it generally has a decent following.

A lot more people are doing PCP analogs from RC sites in the past couple years though.
 
As someone who enjoys disorder at whatever cost, I say:

Dissociative's certainly have there place in neural expansion.

If the kids happen to bust up a few cuntrag cops in the process, so be it.

I used to live next door to A sherm-head. He would trip out and fight imaginary people.
I would hear him in the middle of the night screaming: "Get off me! Get the fuck off me!"

I did PCP once. It doesn't kick in right away. I learned and researched before I did it.
I learned from the pros (Not my ex neighbor) to smoke a little, wait 5-10 minutes and smoke some more, repeat till you get where you want to be.

I got super happy and did chores. I had a major sedation buzzy robot type high and it just had a really stimulating buzz to it. I was not depressed for two days afterwards. I was cheerful, had a real clear mind filled with creative thoughts.
Nothing dark at all. Really bright... I was sooooo fucking happy!!!!!!


It's a fucking epidemic out here in Houston. People get stuck before they even leave the dealers houses sometimes. They wreck their cars, get out like nothing happened and walk the fuck off. They Keep claiming it's hot, strip down and just roam.

Too many people swim in the wet too deeply. I know rap careers other than big lurch that have fallen cause of wet. The dude I know personally is basically 24/7 wetted up. He has no life and lives on housing. He is dead and non-exestant to society now.

PCP has alway been readily available in Philly, at least for the last decade. I can't speak about use % and if it's growing. As for the premise of it causing a lot of mental health issues, I don't know if there's a causative relationship there and the article isn't very convincing, just anecdotal for the most part.

ive heard legit cops telling the most batshit insane stories about "this whacked out junky on PCP".... fucking breaking handcuffs, getting hit by multiple tazers and having no effect on them, pepper spray/mace has no effect etc..

i dont get where the idea that a drug can make you superhuman came from. i mean yeah in some cases it can make you ignore pain, but thats just a little much...
