Funny you mention lay offs, woodpecker, the hubby was laid off today. No warning, no "we'll bring you back when there's work"....because there's no work around here right now in his profession. Nada. I haven't been around the past few days due to major connectivity issues & getting some work tossed my way. In this economy (with no resolution in sight) I'm taking everything that's coming my way. The hubby is doing the same, and right now it's working to pay the bills, thank goodness. I hope it continues.
