i work at subway,ite pretty easy and fun too..lol everyone at my job are lazy with the dishes...but iit just reminds me of my many clean missions while rolling so its
fun to me.lol
yeah its fun being the boss,im just happy i finally got a job.
 
Anybody here a fisherman/woman offshore or otherwise?

I would be interested to find out as fishing saved me from a life of substance abuse more than once.

And herd you say it's fun being the boss. I HATE it, all the shit seems to roll uphill have you noticed?

I used to go fishing with my grandfather as a kid. I loved it. He had access to a private, stocked pond and we'd catch bass & bream all day long. I haven't fished in years though, and I really miss doing it.

Being the boss does suck. particularly if you are self employed. Nobody to yell at but yourself. ;)
 
^^^^^^^If ya got children Rav it makes for good quality time for sure.
I'm teaching mine now, with the way food prices are soaring I feel it prudent.
Been gardening as well for the same reasons

Would be nice to get crazeee just one more time but y'all know whats up in the SOUTH
 
Yep, we always get the dirty here in the dirrty dirrty :(

No kids here unless you count cats, and no plans to have any. I love gardening as well, but mostly plant flowers & houseplants, my yard is not suitable for growing much (too hilly/rocky/covered with trees). We have a friend who has a lovely organic garden & they share with us, it's great to have fresh fruit & veggies. :)

RB, Sony is the way to go IMO. The prices on the LCD's have come way down and there is plenty of 0% financing at your big box stores if ya look.

I have a hard time with birthday salutations as I quit having mine about 15 years ago but...........................Happy Birthday.

Anybody find it odd that oil price is down but gas price is not? at least in my
area.

Oh yeah MEDIACOM cable sucks.

Anybody taking martial arts or have children doing same?
I am taking my girls to Karate tonight to give them some structure in their life over the summer
 
+1 on the Sony recommendation! :) I've always been a huge fan of Sony, hubby's a Pioneer man. I'm going to see if this tv can be repaired, I hate putting anything on credit.

Thanks for the b'day wishes...I think I'm gonna stop having b'days too. Once you get a certain age, you just wanna forget about them. :D

Gas is just ridiculous. We were out running errands yesterday and had to fill up, 93 octane is $4.12/gal here in my area of Alabamastan. :( It sucks having a vehicle you can only run 93 in.

Karate is an excellent way to give kids structure (and discipline). What are they taking? Hubby is big into martial arts (especially MMA) and was training for UFC type events until a career ending (non-martial arts related) ankle injury.
 
^^^ The Sensei is trained in Okinawan Jujitsu I think( he is above a sensei but his title escapes me right now though I remember dodan or doran rank)Anyway wife and I decided we will join too as the Family discount works out to make it reasonable. These people seem really cool and I felt a great sense of fellowship with these people. Some are cops, doctors etc. but everybody seems on the same level in there.
Almost kinda strange as I got more good vibes from them than any chuch setting save for my childhood.

Whats MMA? I am a martial arts newbie unless seen in a Bruce lee or other kung fu type movie

Diesel is $4.87 here which as you know brings all our stuff to the stores.
This ain't gonna get better people. Not to be depressing but this is reality.
 
Anybody feel like scaring themselves read on peakoil.com and also check out any of the Alex Jones videos concerning the Federal Reserve, 911, American concentration camps etc. When there is one fool spouting stuff I can ignore it but there are hoardes all singin the same basic song.

How do people feel about Senators Obama and McCain?

I am traditionally a fiscal conservative and a social liberal if that makes sense but neither one of these guys can I support. I liked Ron Paul but no chance in hell for him to be elected president.
 
Anybody sick from eating tomatoes?

WTF you cant even have a 'mater sandwich anymore, I don't know what's worse eating vegetables or ingesting chemicals made in clandestine labs

For those of you north of B'ham yes some of us eat tomatoe sandwiches,
goes quite well with our meth/piperazine/amp/reasearch chem/unreacted precursor XTC
