I dance because it tells me to
The music speaks to me
I dance the whole night through
claps and the waves contract
energy flows in a form compact
hats and the waves start to move down
forcing my feet up from the ground
kicks come in, the energy explodes
the melodies maintain my constant flow
the intagible lips of the dance speak
tell me I am strong, I am not weak
syllables as notes, clear as day
dance dance dance is what it says
forget the future forget the past
now is now and now is fading fast
Just wrote this, I'm on a comedown at the moment . . . .trying to express what dance music sounds like to me when I'm rolling. It's very commanding. ;-)
