The more the better?

Hey guys

Just wanted to know whether more MDMA actually makes the roll more intense and better as well as lasting longer or does this "sweet spot" that people talk of exist?

Everyone has their own personal sweet spot, after that it often becomes too intense and unpleasant for the user. Too much teeth grinding, body temperature issues, blacking out etc.

My personal sweet spot is usually around 140-160 mg but i am tall, have a pretty large build and I’ve been consuming for over 15 years so I have a bit of a tolerance. I’ve done as much as 200-220 in one dose and that was just way too much for me, didn’t have fun at all.

think of it as a bell shaped curve. peak = optimal dose = sweet spot.
Too low and it's irritating, feels like somethings coming and never does, not nearly stimulating enough, no empathy and not worth the time.
Too high and it's often too mongy (there's a point where overstimulation becomes monginess ime, see aMT), sensations are overwhelming, start overheating while doing nothing, memory loss or even fainting, the negatives easily overwhelm the positives.
Personally I find MDMA to be easier to underdose than overdose and the negatives above more often come from redosing multiple times rather than one original high dose.

It was too overwhelming. Was grinding my teeth too much, chewed the inside of my mouth too much, was sweating uncontrollably, was too hot, couldn’t focus on anything for more than 10 seconds, was forgetting what we were talking about mid conversation. Plus, I felt absolutely horrible the next day.

I’m not saying there wasn’t any euphoria, there was plenty. For me though, there is a delicate balance between feeling good and feeling too good. I don’t want to be curled up into a ball of mush in the corner chewing my mouth to shreds. I like to be able to walk around and remain functional, have conversations, dance, come down after 4 hours or so and fall asleep easily. Then I like to wake up feeling like I didn’t really take anything the night before while remembering everything that happened the night before.
 
There is a sweet spot for most people, but your mileage may vary. If someone take to much they tend to be rather tweaked out and the side effects gets more pronounced.
 
Most definitely is a 'sweet spot'. I find anywhere from 100-150mg to be just right. 120 is probably my favourite dose.
 
Like every drug, there's a ceiling dose, after which taking more doesn't increase the quality of the experience.
 
In my experience, yes there is a "sweet spot" if your just trying to achieve that really euphoric feeling, if i continue to take more it just becomes more speedy and i feel more "fucked up" so to say, but honestly i like that feeling haha :)
 
I can say from my personal experience that with MDMA there is no "take more - have more/longer fun". There is a sweet spot or a limit which is defined by amount of substance and time (by time I mean redosing after some period of time). Take too much too quickly and you can have problems.
 
Better - is such a subjective word. So many people enjoy MDMA (with other things) in different ways - some like small doses for house sitting, meditation, talking etc Some like a higher dose for dancing, raving. Some like higher doses that leave you in a puddle, unable to move etc

The sweet spot for a lot of people is around the 100 / 150 mg range - but some people do enjoy taking several doses like this as they enjoy that speedy, fucked feeling you get when you dose high.
