i was high on dope for like 2 years straight and my family never noticed.. even when i would come over and nod off on the couch... then when i finally get clean like 3 months later they come over and confront me, thinking that im high on "the amphetamines"...

i was never more irritated in my life...

^ This. The amount of times friends have called me out on being high when i'm sober, and then completely missed the fact that i'm so messed up I can hardly keep my eyes open is ridiculous :L

ALL the time! If I'm tired, which is all the time since I have insanely bad insomnia. I'll fall asleep while watching TV on the couch like right after dinner. My parents wake me up and shake me soooo hard. "JEFF!!! WTF!!! YOURE HIGH AGAIN! i KNOW YOURE HIGH I READ IT ON THE INTERNET THAT NODDING IS A RESULT OF OPIATE ABUSE!" I'm always like, sleeping is a result of being tired and tiredness is a result of not fucking sleeping.

Or in the mornings in the summer my allergies act up and my parents will be like runny nose..watery eyes..yep..youre going thru withdrawals right now arent you? its because you relapsed and couldnt afford your drugs anymore. do we need to hide the valuables in case you try to pawn them since youre sick and out of money??
