Ok, so i talked to my friend the other day and he said he had done meth ALOT.. and that he simply does not get any cravings from it. and he still does it every now and then .

he is addicted to morphine though, so he would have no reason to lie about being addicted to meth.

anyway, the point of this thread was to ask you guys, are there any of you out there who use it recreationally?

i like to think i can use it recreationally, i use meth on the weekends.. but it started out only once a month.. so while i feel im still in control im not to sure hehe

I use it recreationally, as I don't need it for work. ;)
I dunno if I'd be on my way to a problem if I had a steady hookup.
I've used it 3 times in roughly 3 years.
Each time, the crash reminds me of why this is not a drug to be trifled with.

ebola

i've done meth four times now, the last time being my final use in the foreseeable future. Definitely the most euphoric/dopeminergetic chemical i've ever injested, as well as the most ravaging to my body. I've never binged on meth, but i can imagine that taking multiple doses would be torture on your body. One of my friends once told me she felt like she was dying while she was coming off a 3 day binge. I've only taken one dose per session/use (snorted) and I haven't experienced a comedown yet, it simply wears off over the course of a week.

This is definitely a serious drug. Even if i knew i could handle taking it regularly recreationally i wouldn't wanna hurt myself and my body.

I seem to have it under control. I've used it twice since october when I was arrested for buglary II/trespassing I. I have pictures of most of the meth I've done up in my gallery.

I would class myself as a recreational meth user. I IV meth about 3 days a week and around 5 times a day. And are on it now having shot 2 points about 3 hours ago. I went through about a year or so when I did it daily many times. Then, my health was terrible, worst its been. Even when a daily user I didnt consider myself a meth addict. My mind thinks if a substance isn't psychically addictive, in that I don't get withdrawal symptoms when stopping it I'm not addicted. Through out that time I was also a daily heroin user and was certainly a heroin addict.

Not to pass judgement but if your IV'ing meth 5 times a day 3 days a week, I wouldn't say its recreational use. I don't think doing any hard drug 5 times a day 3 days a week would be recreational.

On the topic, I use Dexedrine recreational, basically if I want to stay up and get stuff done, go to a club and stay out all night, bathroom renovations (you get the picture) I'll use it now and again, there is NO way I could use the stuff in quantity on a regular basis and not feel like it would be doing some major damage to the body and brain.

I have also done Meth 5-6 times in the past 8 years, same goes for it, I just can't use that stuff for more then a few days in a row, and after that I don't want to even look at it for a long time. Now coke on the other hand, when I have that in my possession, I find it very hard not to do that constantly till its all gone.

The difference between the two substances $$$$

I've done it both recreationally and for staying up all night reading and doing school work. Eating a tiny amount (20mg or so) with a caffiene tab and some ginko biloba&tyrosine work well for school work.

On the other hand snorting 60-100mg will have me jacked up and feeling like the king.

I wish I still had a problem with meth. Well, I guess I do, my connects dried up. I met an asian kid recently who has overpriced l-meth shards, but I banged a quarter gram of it in one shot, and I hadn't had it in a couple of months and was disapointed. If I could meet dude's dude and get it in bulk for alot lot cheaper I'd be pretty happy though.

I actually just got a hardon looking at some of Red Haze's pictures. Fuck.

Yes, there are many people who use meth & stimulants in general regularly. I think this may foster more discussion in DC so I'm moving it for now.

(l)-methylamphetamine is virtually inactive in vivo. In fact, it is available OTC as the Vicks Nasal Inhaler. The levo enantiomer only acts as a mild brochostimulant and decongestant. So, don't waste your money with shit like that. Not that I approved of (d)-methamphetamine use, but I do use (d)-amphetamine almost daily medicinally.

In my opinion, due to his morphine use, his chances of getting addicted to meth are greatly reduced, my reasoning is because the morphine will take the edge of his anxiety/cravings/irritability due to meth.
Don't forget, EVERYONE is different when it comes to drug use, some people can use and not think about it the next day, while others can't.

Everyone can do meth recreational at the beginning... some people like it a bit too much and lose control, others keep it to their set limit (once a week, once a month, whatever). Nobody can tell you which group you're in, but I find the majority of people can't control it :) Also it has a devious way of making you believe you are in control, when your life is completely spiralling out of control.

These are words of wisdom. I thought I was in control for the longest time and I was a huge fucking addict. Didn't realize how bad it had got until I noticed how long it had been since I'd talked to my best friend or hung out with anyone who didn't do drugs. It's so easy to overlook the fact that doing meth has become a casual thing.

Damn good example, and the hardest concept to want to face.
The loss of time and reality is seemingless...then a friend gets a hold of you. "where did you disapear to past year" - - - YEAR!??!

From one mindset of control, to the opposite. I simply refuse to go back to reality and find out how long its been. Amphetamines started a new path, and blocked all exits. you simply follow and find out where it ends from there.

As for this:
he is addicted to morphine though, so he would have no reason to lie about being addicted to meth

He may not have a reason to lie, but meth does. Being addicted to opiates a second addiction is easily hidden.
Its not a lie if you truely believe it, but it doesn't mean he may be wrong.

I think it really depends on the person when you see who can just use it recreationally. Hell, my old weed dealer would do meth every now and then, and it was weird because I would think he was addicted because whenever he does it, he'll do it for a few days. But he just stops easily and won't even touch it.

However, recently, my best friend and another friend of mine did meth and now they are in deep shit. They could not handle the comedown and they just wanted more and more. They did all sorts of stupid shit, like robbing people, but it all caught up with them.
