^ Don't worry, I always preferred APC over Tool (until 10000 days, which made them equal). And yes, The Pot is awesome :). I guess you see something that I do which most Tool fans miss in their passion for aenema & co. :D

i mainly like the pot and APC because i can hear all of what's being said and the lyrics make sense. imho abstract aspirations typically go really poorly with music because it's like introducing chaos to order and asking them to meld. there are genuinely incredible songs that meld what SOUNDS like chaos at first with a melody at which point you realize it was never chaos but that becomes more and more difficult to successfully pull off the more you push the envelope like tool tries to do sometimes.
 
mine by far is Aenima.

i have loved it from the first moment i heard it.

Actually, just the lyrics are awesome for that song! When they closed with it last time i saw them i melted!!!

I have a very hard time ranking tool's music, cuz it's all fantastic. If I must though I'd say Lateralus is a great song to trip to, very spiritual. Rosetta stoned is great, as I can only understand it stoned.

Tool for those who don't know who they are XP
and I bought it because 1. It's tool, and Tool = god ;) haha
2. I've never seen the shirt before
3. it looks sick as hell.
and i'm just wondering, is this shirt even a legit Tool shirt? or did some knock off company make it or something? because it's not on there website :/ and i can't find it anywhere else online but hottopic.com. Either way I love it :D i'm guessing if it IS a legit Tool shirt, it's a 10,000 days shirt. And if it is legit, it's an import from somewhere.
Edit: Btw, Tool discussion thread now :) who else here listens, and appreciates Tool like i do? And understands there lyrics and meanings? and straight up just LOVES tool :)

Thank you another Tool fan, you know another thing i love about tool besides the deep lyrics, maynard, and the music? lol, the fanbase, it's like a club, whenever someone see's my Tool shirt (or now shirts :D) and they know Tool like I do, they always come up to me, and we start talking about Tool, sometimes for hours haha, and then a lot of the times, i'll get there numbers and there's mine, and were friends, that easy, and i'll hang out with sometimes too, it's really cool. Tool isn't like any other band out there :) it's why i love them, and the fanbase is SO unique too.
And ya I am really starting to think it's an import shirt, maybe one sold for a specific concert they played at? i think chet zhar made the design at least.

And hell ya :) My favorites are Right in two, 4 degrees, vicarious, rosetta stoned, and all there other music, i'm so stoked for the new album :)
 
You should really buy me one because I'm poor and shit. As a sidenote, I got bitched at when I wore a Slipknot shirt to work. See I'm a vendor and usually don't even see him but he showed up "Theresa, you should be wearing a collared shirt" umm, well see it's in memorium, you know Paul Gray just died and....Blank stare

I totally would too, but the thing is, i'm poor too, and no job haha i was lucky to get this shirt, i only had $10 and the shirt was $15 so my gf lent me $5 lol. And that sucks :/ some people just don't understand :! If I was him i'd be like "ok just this once and tomorrow then" haha
what do you sell? (like at work) lol
 
I got this job called "merchandising" What we do is go to different stores and each week replace the magazines, periodicals and paperback books. But last week, my manager made me sign a form telling me I'm going over budget. I mean they are allowing me 9 hours a week! Who can live on this shit? Think of me when you're at the supermarket and see all the magazines at the checkout. Yep, that's me. Shite job! Still looking for something better and I mean soon...thanks, theresa
