At the risk of sounding like a conspiracy theorist I could almost guarantee that those pills are not just MDMA but the report is made to sound like they are. People don't just overdose on MDMA especially the shitty weak pills we get these days. Other toxins guaranteed to be involved but good luck making the govt admit to that in their reports.

Also definitely agree those overdoses were almost certainly not from MDMA PILLS. I mean unless they ate like 10 at once, they'd have to be the highest dosed pills in history lol

^^ Exactly. LE browses this forum - everyone should keep this in mind. It's not hard to read between the lines in some posts (not calling out any in particular - but in general) - and it's not wise to assume that just because nothing definitivie has been admitted, that LE can't do shit.

Also, just a reminder that there are to be no substance ID requests - or guesses, speculations and so on - as others have mentioned, it's just impossible for anyone to tell you.

Just a quick note that we are going to start a free testing service in conjunction with Ecstasydata.org - this will require somebody posting a sample off to them but a code will be given to ensure that the tests are carried out FREE OF CHARGE.

At the moment I have suggested that pills linked to deaths /media coverage take priority, after that pills that maybe pills that are making everyone ill / inconclusive test reactions, then finally site (pillreport) user vote. I will be making a thread over in the Pillreports forum on here to discuss this further (Please use that for any questions / suggestions etc)

It can come in many forms , shapes , colors and etc. Yeah it tastes bitter but so does a lot of other chemicals. The only way to get closer toknowledge is to reagent test it

Although this is decent advice, I still wouldn't stick to it. It is fairly easy to chuck a tiny amount of MDMA into crystal so that the reagent reacts whilst the rest is filled with filth. Don't touch anything regardless if you don't know the original source. It may mean you don't touch anything for a while, but atleast you won't consume harmful shit more times than not. I wouldn't buy anything sold as MDMA crystal off anyone unless I knew them well enough to trust them. More times than not you're going to get shit. Don't risk it, it is not worth the risk at all.

From personal experience crystal md sold street level is normally md, but if it's powdered mdxx and not crystal it's almost always something else. I know this isn't great Harm Reduction advice but this is what I've seen numerous times.

I completely agree, but I'd also say I have far more reliable sources than most. I'd say 9 times out of 10 throughout my life if its crystal and sold to me as MDMA it is either MDMA or MDA but in saying that I also know people that have bought 'crystal MDMA' tens if not hundreds of times and only gotten the goods a handful of times. Most of my friends refuse to buy test kits so I end up testing bits here and there for them and most of the time what they get is shit. Not to mention when it does test up positive for MDMA and then they start with 100 - 150mg and barely get a lift. It isn't hard for the dealers to cut it to the shit house but leave just enough that its tests up ok.

With the current state of MDxx in Australia I'd say unless you know and trust your source, it really isn't worth risking your life over. I don't understand too much about the actual pharmacology behind MDMA but it seems to me that imports I've come across give me an extremely loved up effect whilst most locally sourced MDMA seems to be more of a heavy munt with lots of rushing but no loved up effect. I'm not sure if that comes down to local stuff using a different precursor or what but for the sake of harm reduction i'd steer clear of anything unless you're absolutely certain of what it is.

its not people really overdosing on MDMA alone the main risk would be overheating and or dehydration.People putting themselfs in bad situations by not being safe and taking MD by not hydrating them selfs as much as they need or by drinking too much although drinking too much would be a less commen way of people OD'ing than overheating would....theres still plennnnnnnnnnnnnnnty of crystal around so there is still risks of OD's from MD crystal.

Has anyone tried the ezi test marquis test kit. If I tested a bit of tan powder and it immediately turned dark purple almost black, what would this speculate ? I ask because on the chart they supply in the test kit shows mdma to show dark blue/ black. And purple as opiates. However after searching for info most other marquis tests say that any dark purple , blue , or black is a MDma or MD related product.
Any help ?

Mm this is why a lot of people say that learning about harm reduction for drugs is so much better than the usual 'drugs are bad mmkay' outlook. Always best to teach or at least put the thought out about harm reduction and that some people (especially teenagers) will be doing drugs no matter what the media tells them.

I realized no one was has been talking about white versaces, anyones thought on those? My mate took one the other night and he remember seeing a womans face on there but he bought some more from another friend who he 'trusts' (trust=someone hes met a few times) and he's not the most knowledgeable on harm reduction so I'll be testing those incase. Those ones he bought had no face, no bevel nothing but a plain white coloured pill which looked chalky as, which made me want to test them even more. Given just how dodgy they look I wouldn't be surprised if they weren't mdxx, I just want to be there when he tells em off for it.

i have used these test kits heaps of times.when it goes purple/blue to black that's a good sign its MDMA,if you can get a mandelin (how ever u spell it) it would help a lot more.

Yeah beazoj, J_S will be right, I don't remember a Marquis turning purple to indicate opiates ever. However if the chart says it and the colour match's I'd definitely be cautious. Best to test with another kit and see what it shows. Normally for MDxx it will turn purple and black very quickly, leaving normally just the purple close to the edges and the rest going Jett Black.

I had the white versases on the weekend. I'd suggest that their is multiple batch's going around and I think I had them both on the same night. I double dropped two white versases and the come up felt very strong but the peak was much weaker then expected so about two hours in I got another white Versase from a different source and it set me off flying, most intense eye wobbles I have ever experienced by a big margin. During a song when the strobes and lasers were going off for a couple of seconds I lost control off my body and forgot where I was, I nearly fell to the ground which would've been extremely inappropriate at the trance Dj event I was seeing. Fortunately a mate noticed me about to fall and put one hand on my shoulder which instantly snapped me out of it. It still felt very much like MDMA to me, but I suspect something else in the mix too, closest experience I can think to this was on Yellow Pacmans which were lab confirmed as MDMA + TMFPP, 9 parts MDMA to 1 part TMFPP. So if it was a combo pill with a chemical close to TMFPP or another form of pipes it would explain my episode.

Amazing how you can nearly collapse on a dancefloor and not feel bad about it at all and really enjoy the experience haha.
