Hi, I'm new to the forum. I have an interest in the debate around (re)legalisation of all drugs and their historic use, benefits and pitfalls. I've dabbled with ecstasy in the past but have mostly avoided it for a while now because I feel it pushes my system too much, at least the stuff that was available here did. I also suspect I took a dodgy pill with PMA that led to a seizure.

What's been on my mind for a while now is why when there seems to be an abundance of ecstasy pills that there aren't amphetamine pills like there was in previous decades, I know there's a certain amount of paste and powder about. From what I've read methamphetamine when made properly is as good if not a better party drug than mdma.

I believe it's because meth and speed have gotten a pretty bad rap over the years and it's getting harder to sell people rolls that cant test as MDMA. Regardless of the safety or fun of the drugs, public opinion does wonders. Molly is in, meth is out.

You don't need pressed meth pills, if you wanna take meth orally you can always bomb crystal.

By bomb do you mean snort or smoke? You can't ingest crystal meth right?

I suppose it's probably because with the original wave of speed pills with the truckers in the US and the mod scene in the UK, a lot of the pills were from the medicine cabinet at home or diverted supplies from a pharmacy. People wouldn't have seen much harm in downing some 'uppers' that were advertised publicly with brand names and logos etc.
