the market: stocks, bonds, options, whatever

I don't know, gotta call them and find out what's going on. Could be shares from some spinoff I didn't know about and I owned the parent companies shares at some point. From what I found so far it was dead then went through a custodianship in 2023 to revive it then the shell was sold to some Chinese group, and there weren't any spinoff or special dividends so I don't know what's going on. It's current on filings and the transfer agent is current but I still can't sell it which is odd

Custodianship plays from 2020-2022ish were great then OTC changed the rules. The key was to buy them before they became current and sell them after becoming current or once a buyer of the shell was announced, and to never hold longer and believe anything about the new company. Then they changed the rules to where you can't buy them until they're current. You probably can but U.S. citizens can't

When to buy Solana. $60ish? Buy some now and average down a few times if it keeps going lower?

I read they're taking market share from ethereum, and a recent ethereum update causes less to be burned per transaction. Solana has higher yields too. It was more than that but that's what got me to look into it

It was around $300 at one point. It’s lower now. So if there’s potential for it. It could make a recovery.

how do you guys track crypto prices and buy/sell them?

also have either of you done polymarket bets?

I'm gonna list some stuff on r/pmsforsale. That's one thing reddit is good for, and they'll pay over spot on a good amount of stuff. Really feeling like this is a sell the news situation and the recent bounce the last 2 weeks is a bull trap / dead cat bounce

Iran war could have consequences for AI-related demand

Asia also gets much of its energy through Hormuz so prolonged closure could affect AI-related supply, too

I could be wrong but I think this is a major risk being discounted right now and puts could be cheap insurance until everyone else starts to have the same thoughts.

Unrelated...

utilities could have a good year

maybe software, too

$IGV started the year at $107 and bottomed out at ~$75, now it's $86 and rising
