well i've been to several where alcohol is served, the thing everyone has to remember is that people like to drink and have a good time, being that it's a business the owners are entitled to make money off creating and maintaining an enviroment for everyone. the club we're going to tomorrow has a 18+ to enter 21 to drink policy and it's great, unfortunately in louisville the laws dont work the same, therefore we must do what we can. and they (axis owners) must look out for they're best interest, and having alcohol will only open the doors for bigger and better things. Yeah the whole 2am 18+ sucks but then agian thats the laws of the land, not personal policy.

I came across this thread while searching around and i think i have heard of the axis. I've read back the last few pages and it seems to me like this crowd is the kind of crowd that likes to do drugs. It sounds like you all are mad because this place wont be an underage raver roll club anymore. You all are hating on the club because they are trying to do something better then having kids running around every single weekend. Believe me having a legal venue is better than no venue to party in.

I seen some of you say that you don't like being around drunks. Well some drunks don't like to be around kids all dressed up in Kandi and rolling their asses off. And yes i'm aware that there are drugs in every venue. But the 21 + crowd is a little more mature about their drug use than those who are 18 and under.

You all will grow out of this eventually and see what the real scene is about. It isn't about getting fucked up every weekend. It's about having fun and doing it legally. Plus you wont feel bad the next day. :)

Im pretty sure this yucky-guy wont come back around, he probably had a momento of inspiration (as we say in franch) and is probably one of thos DnB listeners anyway.

But dude - if drunks dont wanna be around us super-cool light-stix wielding pseudo-erotic individuals, they have what are called "bars".

good call triple x. maybe by just reading back a few posts its easy to judge somebody body but watch who you judge cause if you read youre post again you would see that you are trying to call us drug lovin ravers which is not even it. also the axis is 18+ so its not a bunch of kids, also ive been to the axis evreynite it has been open since its been open and i have never ate a bean at that club and still had some kick ass times while i was there. you think just because its tekno that there is drugs, youre living up to the strero type of it all and i dont like it. so please before you dis "some club" that you think you have heard of think about what youre saying, especailly for a person that hasnt been to this venue.

1992RAVER> the only thing you are doing is trying to get in good with the club by posting what you think they want to hear...... and its not an underage roll-club..... they are trying to prevent that from happening.... above all else.... i feel that you need to pay attention to who you are actually posting to.... the djs and the people who do nothing but support this club and have been there since the beginning...... we don't hate on this club.... we suggest things... mainly because the owners like to know what the people think..... so duh with your ideals.....

You needa know and hang out with ppl before you start spittin off at the mouth. I have seen 21+ crowd pretty irresponsible with what they do with their drug of choice. If you know only knew....wait let me bring this to you slowly DRUNKS ARE INTOXICATED WITH THE MOST DEADLY/LEGAL DRUG IN THE WORLD!!!! Yes thats right 1992RAVER ALCOHAL IS A DRUG sorry to break that to you bro.

And to start harking on ppl for being ravers then whe the fuck is ur name"1992RAVER." I have had my share of alcohal and drug abuse. I have been there on both sides of the track. Just don't get in my face harking on me or anyone my friends.

It just pisses me off that ppl are so freakin judgemental can't stand dat shit. To all the ppl i have met at AXIS they are all good peeps. So just back off and leave ppl alone peace

Yo,1992, I've been around a long time and I'll be the first to tell you that you were NOT raving in 1992. You need to either recheck your calender or just simply try not to exaggerate the truth when trying to make yourself look older and wiser than everyone else. Perhaps you're growing old and you're having a hard time coming to terms with that. I say let the young be young. Don't hate them because your youth is gone and theirs has practically begun. Perhaps you need to eat a pill, smoke a blunt, bump of "K" or any substance that will help open your mind to new ideas, and then go out and rediscover yourself.
On the other hand, maybe you're a cop and you feel you can spread the gospel by fronting to be somebody you're not. You see, cops are always pretending to be something they're not. You see, 1992 is probably the year you were graduating from your Justice and Administration classes at UofL. So please take your night-stick, bull-horn, and box of Krispy Kremes and go crash someone elses thread.

Soooooo i wont say anything to feed to the fire of this MORON. BUT AT ANY RATE! Last night was ok. Kenny Played at "AfterLife" everyone loved the music he played as always. It made me miss the club and all of our friends:(. The place was more like a warehouse more than anything but it had a Club X feel with all the black lights when you walk in the door. We met and chatted with some cool peeps who we'll most likely see tonight at George Acosta!!!! I hope everyone has fun tonight at illumiantions and after glow :D I wish we could be there:( We miss you all.
