Because im sure there'll be a few individuals out there that have the best ideas in the world in their inhebriated state. ;)
 
well i am gonna suprise ole girl and i am bringing her and my boy saturday hopefully we was gonna just go to lex but she is 21...and i got a lil cash so i am gonna just go to axis. so i will have the newest chick to the scene this sat wit me woohooo see you all then peace
 
yeah..... and we will be out this weekend too, probably not both nights cuz were tired of paying 40 bucks every weekend for entry..... later
 
OMG! The club was sooooooooooooooooooooo awesome tonight8o 8o 8o . Mad props to all who competed in the contest! It was truly a GrEaT night. It should be like this every weekend. much <3
 
Yea, the contest was great. Also just to let everyone know it will be happening again and a lot more organzied and official the next time. Those who are on here interested in competing write me an e-mail at [email protected]

Yea I had fun in the contest put me down for the next one. I wont more dance time though. If I win agin what do I get, another t-shirt? If so get some made in XL.
 
We are not sure about the prizes just yet though we are giving much more dance time. I was thinking around 1:30 per contestant

The contest this week is round 1.

if you won this week you will compete in the following weeks to determine if you get a slot on The Axis Team. The team will be a combined team of talented individuals who will promote the club by dancing and stringing where ever possible. In return the Club Will promote the dancers as being the official axis team. There are 5 slots per team the stringers and the dancers. I am the team cpt therefore even though everyone wants me to compete i cannot :D. For every 1 slot, there will be 3 rounds. If the same person wins at least 2 rounds of the 3 then they will get the slot. If different people win different rounds then we will go until someone wins two. After it's all said and done, The winners will get free passes and be on the team. Jump Suits with the axis logo will be placed on them for every person (small fee per jumpsuit) and thats when the REAL fun begins. The Contest now is merely the beginning, but more is to come. And watch out for more bigger things in the future.

idea for the contest

Why dont you all let people choose which song they want to get down to?

I mean - something like benny benassi would be awesome for freehand/dance, but for strings something a little more paced would work alot better.

Then again i dont know - i dont string.

Stringing hurts. So do large angry brown bears. :(
 
We dont want people to know the songs. Thats why its random. If they know the song then they will pratice over and over at home. Thats why it has to be dj's choice. That way we know whos really good and who isnt ;)
 
yeah.... and with the applause thing, the MC is really the one determining the winner....... you might wanna re think that idea..... i heard they're gonna close @ and re open it like club x???? anyone know whats up????
