they havin it again???? only thing about this is that it starts at 4am.... i would love to go, but the second night of the weekend is a lot calmer for me than the first....... when's the next time its going on???
 
I think we should do all of these parties mid-afternoon on wednesday and thursday, wha cha all think about that?

Wouldnt that just be kraazzzzi?
 
^^^ its all good....... besides... all joking aside, most of us have kids and jobs, so i think late night weekends are perfect, just a little tiring.......

but what could you comment that could cause an argument?? i hope everyone laughed at that post.... plus girl, we all luv you.... and would never get upset at your opinion.... remember the whole PLURR thing???? =D
 
True but see people have a "vision" of what axis people act like. And I see that first hand. And in all honesty only a true crack head would try to throw a party in the middle of the week and during afternoon hours.*Thats why i laughed* Because at one time in my younger raver days I know I said some shit way more fucked up than that. LOL. This is my opinion and im not aiming it at anyone. Just saying that we are trying to rebuild the axis and this is not the kind of image that we want to put out. When the axis does reopen its going to be totally different. The word of the day is *Resurrection*!
 
I would suggest making the Axis 18+ and enforcing it. I think that would calm a lot of the haters down. Also try to keep attendees' drug use to a minimum. Just my 2 cents. You guys in the Axis crew have some good talent and a lot of vision, not to mention a very loyal following. If you start putting out the right message to these kids I think you will see a lot of support from other EDM factions in this town who maybe aren't as supportive currently.

Very true Nate. And thats what we plan on doing is making the Axis 18 to enter 21 to drink. We want to cater to a more mature crowd of EDM lovers. The drug use is a whole issue in its self. No matter what we do they will get in. And thats for every club, not just the Axis. We have big plans for EDM supporters and they wont be disappointed. You know sometimes you have to get your feet wet to get a true vision of what needs to happen. Our feet are wet and we are taking what we learned and moving on to better and bigger things! And your right we do have a big group of loyal followers and we appreciate everyone of them. With out them none of this would be possible. DP supports everyone. Puzzle and myself have attended the last 3 Deep Blue functions and i'm sure you will see us at future events. Its all about the love of EDM and we do hope with the new club that we will gain more support. Because like i've said with out the support none of this would be possible. =D

i do agree that the image axis should portray should not be that of just a giant rolling party.... thats what gets clubs shut down..... if your gonna take it, control yourself. and if you can't control yourself, don't take it.... the club is still fun either way..... and if you have to roll to enjoy the club.... you shouldn't be there...... cuz you can roll and enjoy just about anything.... except for D&B*giggle*
 
Ok the people that are under 18 cause a problem in the club scene. Its not that we don't want them there its just that we can get in a lot of trouble for having them in the building. Its all about whats legal and what isn't. If we wanted to cater to that crowd then we would have to run a strictly teen club. Thats not what we want to do. Theres no money in teen clubs except for what comes from "party favors". And thats not legit. We want to run a legit business, and thats what we plan to do. If the cops come in and theres a 16 year old in the corner getting a light show or giving one it doesn't matter, the cops are going to go after the club more than the kid. Because we didn't ID them, we seen what was going on, and we didn't remove them from the club. I don't know if you all keep up on the scene that well but the "rave act" has been passed. Lights, glow sticks, binkys, vicks all that stuff is considered paraphernalia and if you are caught with it you will be charged. Thats not us doing that its the law now. And we as the "Club" don't need some 16 year old saying "well no my parents don't know where i am, and yes i bought these drugs in the club". Thats where the problem comes in. Its a liability issue. And thats something we have dealt with in the past. And some people are still continuing to deal with now even though the club has been shut down for quite sometime now. I mean really...I need more fingers and toes to count the times The Axis and Slammers was shut down due to the cops because of all the underage people in the buildings. This is something that we don't want to go through again. Its just way to much trouble.
We don't expect anyone to just sit at their table and act like their having a good time. We are just providing a better enviroment for people who do love the scene and the music. There is a bigger crowd of 21 + who support the scene. And we want to reach out to that crowd also. We will be throwing after hours events to cater to other age groups. Like i said in my pervious post. Sometimes you have to get your feet wet to see what really needs to happen. And we learned a lot from the previous Axis and Slammers. Thats something that none of us want to deal with again. We want to be open every weekend. We want to be the place that everyone comes to, to have a good time. And with us doing this the right way it opens up more doors for us to throw bigger events and bring in head liners. Its all for the good of the scene. And its just not the scene that we support, we support the people that support us. This is whats going to make The Axis stand out from other clubs.
