lol...... we DID get to bring lights!!!! props to smiley!!! the club was fucking awesome!!!! did everyone get to hear the song i made up????? and p.s. jingle bells does not make a good techno song....... holla!!!!

<-- what the hell is this symbol?

^^ yeah - i thought it was cool to listen to jingle bells for about 10 seconds - but then it's like "where's that deep kick and boom and ratatata - ZOING" sound.. it never came :(

ANYWAY - I honestly thought that "no lights/kandi"-type rule was going to be the end of it all - but things were pretty cool.

The place looks REALLY professional - and no offence to the old axis - this place is far superior. Not a BIG fan of the whole police-station-one-block-away thing - but hey - they dont seem to be doing thier job anyway - my good friend got beat up right after the hip-hop segment.

Overall - an awesome experience - i wish i could have jumped some more on the leather, but that big "STAFF" wearing white guy told me i couldnt do that. Facists.

Next weekend me and the LP wont be here - but you all can expect us to show up and keep it real. Remember - do not stare at the bright light.. it's suppose to "hurt".

Public Service Announcement

this weekend was fun. and here's the reasoning about alot of things.

first of all "RAVE CLUB" = Negative image = closed down after about 2 months.

we understand that we can't control what people do prior to coming to an event or normal evening, but what we can control is those people who have no respect for the people nice enough to put thousands of dollars into something for you to enjoy. If you want to bring lights in, help keep it professional, respectable and decent. when we walk through somewhere we dont want to see fucked up people and others pushing it on. all that does is making the assumption that we condone something that we dont. notice how the rules changed dramatically from friday to sat. because of those people who were not responsible and made it obvious that they were being irresponsible. and notice how they were removed. all we ask for is respect, dont treat our establishment like a place that you do what you want when you want. it's because of those people that ruins it for everyone. thats why the rules DREK set will help keep the place more professional and less negative even though some of those people out there could care less. people just need to grow up and realize that these "RAVE CLUBS" died long ago and we are trying to build the scene to a more respectable one. "RAVE CLUBS" along with the irresponsible people are the reason for the RAVE ACT, people want to complain that the rave act is ruining the music scene then turn around and make it worse by doing the things that caused it to begin with. Bottom line, The more respect you give to the people trying to keep things going, the better things will get.

Oh and by the way, The reason for the recent rule changes is because people swinging they're lights, throwing them, and acting a fool with them has damaged two of our lights, each in the range of 400-600 dollars a piece. Please respect our equipment, everything we're doing, were doing to try and makes things better, not so people can not care and damage things. Thanks, and this is not directed towards anyone in particular just for the community as a whole. Please help us build a better scene by respecting what people are trying to do for it.
