Oh how wrong could you be! :( (I regret that neither myself or anyone else bothered to correct you on that.) You had bags of style, all uniquely yours alone, all carried off with your own eccentric , self depreceating wit, intelligence, and humorous (nearly always) charm. Man I still miss you, and posting this has bought tears to my eyes. <3 (I dont use that symbol lightly) You were one of the toppermost legends in my time here. It was a pleasure and a priviledege to have been able to exchange quite a large number of posts with you. How i regret the way i 'play things cool' (dont let anyone get too close), life is too short for that bollocks. You taught me so much, you never took offence at my mickey-taking. You always had time for other people.

Where have they all gone now, though?

I reckon they're all leading productive lives. That they've realised drugs are a dangerous disturbance to their successful, progressive, fulfilling lives. Moved on. And subsequently have no desire to mingle with us.

Either that, or they've died.

Sorry to sound so morbid, and no disrespect to those on this forum who have passed away... but it's not unfamiliar for an EADDer anymore.

I was thinking to myself, if I died tomorrow, no-one on this forum would ever know about it, because I try not to tell people I'm posting on an Internet drug forum. Could this be true with the aforementioned?


Or have some died, and some gone on to lead successful lives? It could become a fun game. Try to guess who!

I reckon Alpha, Dr Suess, Proto and HA made something of themselves. The rest are either dead or homeless.

Just randomly check on bluelight and saw this thread, those names bring back some memories. I guess I started on bluelight around 2000/2001, but I suppose I didn't post enough to make the grade <hmmmph>


Well you can add me to the "not dead" list. Mainly used bluelight whilst at uni, so my use of the board drifted off around 2003. Since then, graduated, worked some dead end jobs, took more drugs, went travelling, met girl, got her pregnant, got married, quit drugs / parties / rave, had a daughter. Left the UK to move to South America around 2010, had another daughter and expecting another in March.

Don't do drugs anymore, nor go out. Lead a boring, sensible life. Had a great time taking drugs, met loads of good peopl, figured out the ills of the world and promptly forgot. Would recommend them to everyone :-D

Purple Haze (if he's not been mentioned), Ektamine too of course. Amazing guy. Amanatadine (sp?) and Babylon Boy. The last 3 were incredibly knowledgable and well informed, total experts in their fields, and greatly respected and admired for those reasons as well as for having great empathy, warmth and friendliness, and not being at all big headed or conceited about their intelligence and knowledge and all round brilliance. Wherewolf too. Man, what a lovely guy he was.

Thank you Sadie and Allein. I'm glad that my black out rant rage was memorable to others because I cannot remember it myself. :D

I'm hideously embarrassed when someone brings one of those threads back to the top of the first page. Thankfully that hasnt happened too often, only once or twice. Was I ranting at Sammy G? Oh dear oh dear. 8( At least he carried on speaking to me afterwards, and I am thankful to the EADD community for your support when I came out of that 3 month Phenazepam fugue, more or less back to my pre-phenazzed self, and as near as ever to what passes as normal for me. :)

MDB I agree that you're one of EADD greats. Your posts are funny, intelligent, you produce interesting threads n you learn from bad/embarrassing experiences with good grace n self-awareness. You're also very tolerent of others (ahem) ;)
